I've dabbled in Neopets before as a kid, but I return now to complete a goal I've always wondered how people accomplished.

I want to make my first million NP.

I don't understand how people do it and my goal is to make at least one million before the end of this month. As a result, I humbly come to these forums and ask: how do you do it?

I've tried score sending but that only nets me 200k/day and I usually get iced within a week. I've read up on ABing but I don't know what to buy or for how much I should sell. I read the Super System thread but all I saw from that were a bunch of graphs and spreadsheets akin to an EVE online player and left with a headache.

With Abrosia you don't need to know what to buy, you just need to give it a minimum amount of profit you want to make and it will buy any items which fit that profile.

So I push a button and wait. Gotcha.

Auto-Buying is the way to go. I made a silly error with it, and got frozen once; I emphasise that fault was my own. Use it sensibly (there are threads dedicated to that on this website) I followed the advice here, and it should be fine. Just so long as you're reasonable and don't leave it running all day every day. I usually do it for two hours from a side account, and take a break before starting again. Good luck with meeting your target (BTW from what I can tell, SSing is a ticket to freezing).

Pretty much, it's designed to be as easy to use as possible. :p You'll probably have to be more patient with such as young account though because you're restricted in the items you can see in the shops and so will make smaller amounts of profit initially.

Not if you're careful...I got to all star in the AC on one of my accounts just by score sending.
Auto buying is the way to make NP though :)

Don't just do ABing alone though, especially on a brand new account. You'll look more legit if you partake in lots of little things. Try playing games, earning trophies and avatars, maybe get some painted pets from the pound and attempt to trade them, oh, and don't forget to make a few Neofriends and talk to them often.

Yeah it seems like very little of this will help you in your goal - but you don't want to have to outright restart from the ground again if you get iced.

Very good advice right there....someone who is new to neopets is probably not going to know about restocking let alone jumping straight in to restocking like a pro :)
Also a pre made lookup is a good idea...a quick google search will give you a vast selection.
Pharmacy is probably the best place to AB on a new account :)

AB straight up in low risk shops. No pain, no gain. :)

Score send believable scores for quick games for initial investment. At least 50k-100k. Auto buy at food shops or pharmacy. Also make sure to build a profile for the account you are going to autobuy on. Have some trophies, nice pets, customized shops and stuff.

Honestly with Score Sending, you're much safter AoBing. Here's a guide.

As for AutoBuying stick to the pharmacy with a young account. Here's another guide. Try using some of the autoplayers to get easy trophies ,get a premade userlookup, and customize your pets. (even just using the stuff from the newbie pack is good)

I agree. Use pharmacy at a beginner account. You will start making the money slowly but it will start to come in faster. The eggs which restock alot will get you the most money. Once you get a better account then you could switch over to stamps. I like the stamps because they have alot of 20k+ stamps that restock fast. Plus you have the chance of scoring big. I've gotten multiple 100k+ stamps.

You can control which shop you want to AB at if you use your own restocking list. =)

And what times should I AB at? I played around and tried out different times but I've only managed to buy like 6 things and so far none have sold.

Well, the FAQ states that 6PM NST (for me that's 9PM EST) is not a good time. Mornings and afternoons tend to be better. The only way to find good times for you is to play around, choosing different times and switching them if they don't work.

As for items bought, 6 items in the span of 1-2hours is actually good. Just price the items as low as possible and people should buy them, all you can do is wait for them to sell.

Okay thanks! I just thought having only 6 items bought is pretty low considering shops restock every 8-10 minutes. I only have around ~50k from SSing, so it'll suck a lot if I run out of capital before someone buys stuff.

    1) Do dailies. The only wheels I recommend doing are the wheel of mediocrity and wheel of slime. I normally can get between 1-10k a day off dailies.
    2) get the habiturarium, it's an easy way to jumpstart getting NP on neopets
    3) get the forgotten shore pieces (easily found through shops/auctions) and do that apart of your dailies
    4) Ab. If you have a regular account, just have 50k saved up and on you, log out, and than click the 'start' button. It might take anywhere from 30 sec-3 hours to get something, but generally the pay off is good. Whenever you get your item, auction it or put it in a shop.

That'd be my recommendations. I don't recommend SSing, because I got frozen too many times from it, even when I was being careful X_X

I'm currently level 15 in the habitarium after two days, but it seems so incredibly slow to level up! I know it might be worth it later on, but at this rate it'll take the rest of the month...

What do you mean? I have a piece I found from anchor management but I thought that all map pieces are pretty expensive.

After all my accounts were frozen for "suspicious activity" I made a new account and just did the dailies and played games for about a week. (Including games there are auto-players for in the program manager, such as Cheat!, Pyramids, Kacheek Seek, etc.) Then, once I had a small amount of NP, (About 15K), I ran Abrosia for two hours, turned on the Gormball player for three hours, kept programs off for 5-6 hours, and repeated. The trick here is that not only are you getting items from Abrosia, but also getting NP and items from Gormball. You throw everything into your shop, (I recommend starting with a shop that'll hold 25 items) price it with Neon, and just wait for the money to start rolling in.
Personally, I shop at 1,37, and 70. I get a decent amount of items, and my profit is set at 5k. (Which is pretty high for a new account.) I was lucky enough to nab a Bag of Peanuts a few days ago, and made a quick 250K off it in minutes. It's all about luck.

I see! How do you AB at multiple shops? Do you do it like one hour at one shop and rotate? Or is it one shop for one day, one shop the next, etc.? Thanks for the input.
