How often are you guys missing potions? I remember in 09-10 when I used to go in there a lot, I would get lots of buys , but now for some reason everything is a miss!


Do you think its more popular now? Or maybe my settings might not be the best? Whats your ratio from buy to miss?

Others can disagree with me if they want but it's definitely possible to get the items with extremely aggressive buy settings but Magic seems to be the shop where buy times are tracked and freeze rate is extremely high.

I agree freeze rate is high, however what is your idea of "agressive buy setttings"? Not sure what to consider mine.

If I'm using sensible buy times I tend to get one about every 6-7 restocks.
When I'm using times that are frankly suicidal (and I'm surprised they don't get me insta-iced),
I tend to pick one up maybe every other restock.

Buy time is the important bit
I use a proxy so it's slower than my normal internet.
My buys time tend to be between 1100-1300ms.
The lower the buy time the more likely you are to get the item but also the more likely to get you frozen.
I wouldn't try it on your main.

How would I go about transferring neopoints to an account on a proxy that has nothing on it?

I havent used a program for awihle. I would love to try my luck in magic; but I don't want other accounts frozen. Ive only been restocking in pharmacy.

Or do research and learn to avoid flags. Quicker yet just buy the information from some one if you're lucky enough to know the right people. AB'ing in magic is pointless anyway.

You burn through shells incredibly fast, waste time buying HTS MPs in the 1-3m range, and still have to do with the item lending cap all while navigating the buy speed flag, r90+ cap, and time logged in. Not to mention the hassle of RS bans that keep you from just point, click, wait. I stocked 1.8m pure on the account for AA and three weeks later I have 500kish left and over 350m in items on it.


Side note: It should be more since my mentor TOOK MY SNOWBUNNY STAMP :K Not that she'll ever see this post but it's true. That's alright I got RSS so it's only fair. Maybe she'll race me soon

I still don't get how you do it. I would always miss all the good stuff in AAA. Do you use multiple accounts or just one? Also I tried 0.1 - 0.2 refresh with 51-57 AAA only and still missed almost all of the items. Even without using a proxy. I was only doing it for a hour but still missed almost everything.

Magic is great for getting ~50mish a week if you are willing to put work in to stay unfrozen. I suicided a few weekends at VT in magic. It typically ended up with around 25-50m and a freezing.

i think my internet connection isn't good enough for attics. i've already tried all extreme settings.
