I'm looking to begin advertising Neocodex on various advertising networks. We need some banner ads at 728x90 to advertise with. Could someone put together various mockups of banner ads we could use? I don't want them to be really graphically intense. They should be really simple. Perhaps an animated gif? I wanted a couple ads created for various products, but for now, let's start with the item database and abrosia. Could someone put together some banner ads for us?

For motivation, Neocodex is giving a free month of advanced membership to the person who's ad we select as a thank you for helping us out .

Sure . Just to let you guys know, I'm looking for something really, really simple. I want to focus on the features that we provide and what we can do for the user. That is more likely to get them interested than our name. In fact, even if Neocodex isn't written on the banner ad, it is fine. We can use the saved space to talk more about what abrosia and the item database can do for neopets players.

I would say we should go for high level items that would get the user's interest. For the item database we can have a picture of a really rare neopets item along with "Neopets Item Database" in big letters. In smaller letters, we can put stuff like "Look up any item on Neopets and find its profit margin, price history, and shop owners" (maybe the list can be in bullets?)

Some changes requested: Can we make the gif a bit slower? Also, can we switch the size of the text? I'd like our name to be a bit smaller and the actual feature text to be large. We want to target people who don't already know about our item database. If they don't already know about us, our name won't make them any more interested . People care about what you can do for them .

Yeah, I think that's a good rate for the gif. By the feature text, I mean the text that states "Look up any item..." let's make that the more prominent part of the ad and make our name (Neocodex Item Database) small. In fact, we don't even need to have neocodex on the ad at all. We can just say Neopets Item Database. And let's make the right side information that changes up a lot larger too. I want to focus on those parts of the ad since that is what will get the user's attention.

That looks great! I don't think i can compete, hehe. and i'm too lazy to make a gif. But seriously, good work.
I think what Hydrogen means is that the text that talks about all the features (look up any item, fully automated pricing system, etc) should be larger.

Can we do "Neopets Item Database" in large letters. Then in smaller letters but not too small, a bulleted list of the features:

• Look up any item on Neopets
• View profit margins
• Track price history
• Find shop owners
