Gravity Falls, watched part of an episode by chance on Disney, it's awesome.

Ah, my daughter has discovered that one, and I must say it is not painful to watch. The Manataur, half man, half taur. Eating jerky, lifting weights, stinking, now that was a show.

Mine are Burn Notice and Dr. Who.

Hrmm I haven't watched TV in years!
I just Hulu stuff when I feel like killing time.

The last thing I recall watching to kill braincells many years ago was Eastenders, Maury, and Dog the Bounty Hunter >_<

Oh lawd DOG and his crew were entertaining.

Hm, jeremy kyle, maury (though jeremy's much better) eastenders and a few comedies now and again.
Maybe that's just me though :p

My brother was a producer on Jeremy Kyle for a while :D Did you know there are storylines that sometimes they can't even broadcast?! Hahah.

For example this one woman's ex-boyfriend was going to be on the show because he found several videos of her having sex with the family dog but obviously they decided they couldn't put that on the television :lol2:

A friend and I have an ongoing joke going on. Whenever we have a class together we watch trashy shows like "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo", and "The Only Way is Essex". We both cringe and sarcastically comment on how hard their lives are - it's brilliant :p

The people who watch it are even worse*.

    * Excluding Jeremy Kyle himself, of course, he's worse than the lot of them put together.

The classes we have together have stopped teaching anything useful, so yeah (we share Studies of Religion and Economics). It's a brilliant time-waster.

Studies of Religion wasn't something I chose - I attend a highly "religious" school so it's a compulsory subject. But yeah, I did choose Economics. Don't get me wrong, I wholeheartedly enjoy the class and am performing pretty well... it's just my guilty pleasure for trashy shows has increased over the past few weeks. :p

I don't think I've got you wrong at all. You're choosing to watch "The Only Way is Essex" instead of getting an education.

Even if you think the classes are pointless, use the time productively. Teach yourself something interesting. Or, since you're only performing "pretty well", you could actually try knuckling down in class and achieving something worth telling people about.

Take your teacher bullshit somewhere else. I spent half of my years at school drugged up, drunk or between a girls legs and got a decent education. Sir.

I don't know if this counts because I watch it only on YouTube (it isn't screened in the UK), but I love Ghost Adventures. It's clearly faked and the guys totally play up to the cameras, but it's highly entertaining for all of that.

Not really, Sweeney. I study hard both at home and school and had never seen any of the shows until my friend introduced them to me. I don't even watch television at home - we don't have a TV. I didn't really want to mention it but by "pretty well" I mean I am coming first in my cohort for Economics and most of my other subjects. We've completely covered all the content for this term in both classes and have a lot of free time so I may as well enjoy myself a little before my Senior year.

Thanks for the advice though, I might give up a couple of minutes listening to Kim Kardashian and her "successful" business for another brush-up of the circular flow.

:p The only time I watched it was the one or two episodes where you can see my big bro in the wings and we taped those :D Otherwise all my knowledge is from the horse's mouth xD

Kyle is a gigantic twat but at all their parties he always puts a couple of grand behind the bar which is pretty decent of him (about the only time he is).

Hahahahaha yeah I love all the 'most haunted' type shows!

"Ooooh oooh! DID YOU HEAR THAT?!! Oh my god it's going cold. DO you feel that presence?!?!" loool

It's the ghost 'voices' that they record making me laugh. The most obscure of scratchy, staticy noises that they totally insist are real words. No, they're not! But love it all the same. It's a great laugh. :D

That's the very least he could do given the millions he gets paid for that shit he puts out. :/
