hello there,

Is there any differences to transform a neopet to Draik/Krawk by using morphing potion rather then the conventional way by obtaining draik egg or krawk petpet?

differences such as obtaining an avatar or other stuff? because I notice that there's alot of difference in neopoint between a draik egg and a draik morphing potion OR between a krawk petpet and the pirate krawk morphing potion.

thanks

If you morph, you can keep a name you already have. And stats, etc.

That's the only functional difference.

I heard if you use a Morphing Potion your pet has a higher chance of developing autism.

Like Sweeney said, the only real difference is that you can morph a pet that already exists. It's name and stats remain the same.
Which in my opinion is a big plus, but my guess is that's also why it's a more expensive alternative.

that is what i thought off but with the doubt of "whether there is any avatar for hatching an egg or make a petpet grown up to be a neopet,
just to making it sure for myself before trying out anything because I will choose avatar if there is any =))
thanks for the info mate, but if there is someone with more interesting idea or knowledge about the difference..lets share it and lets everyone know about it =P

Keeping name/stats is the only really major functional difference... for Krawks though I think if you paint the petpet before changing it to a Krawk, it keeps the colour- and since most petpet paint brushes are cheaper than normal PBs... but eh, the petpet is so expensive, I don't see how it would be worth it most of the time

Other than that, the only thing I know about how it differs is for the total neopet counter. The krawk/draik counters are only affected by pets created via hatching draik eggs/feeding krawk petpet/"Create a Neopet". Morphed pets don't count towards the species totals

i have always wondered, when you take a krawk petpet to the fungus kave, what exactly happens? how does it get named?

When you take the Krawk petpet to the fungus, the name of your grown pet is the name of your petept, and the gender would be random.
Also the color is your petpet color. ;)

You don't have to hatch/grow your Draik/Krawk for their respective avatars.

You only need to make them your active pet and take them to the corresponding places for the specific avatar. Hence you could get 'lent' a Krawk/Draik in order to obtain the avatars.
