Neocodex had a major downtime on the night of October 18, 2012 while performing scheduled maintenance and upgrades of our software. We are still working out the actual reason why the downtime occurred and will post an update once we have some more information on what exactly happened.

At this time, we have restored our forum from a backup. Everything should be as it was last night before we started the upgrade. If you notice any issues, please let us know immediately so we can sort through the problems by emailing [email protected].

If you made a purchase on our site and that purchase is no longer reflected on your account, please also contact us immediately at [email protected]. We don't actually believe this to be the case on anyone's account, but if it is, we want to know so that we can make it right .

Last, but definitely not least, we deeply apologize for the downtime last night. We're going to be investigating on what happened and will put measures in place so that it doesn't happen again.

Edit: it seems like the downtime wasn't as severe as I initially thought it was. I've been told by staff that it was just a few minutes of downtime. When I saw the site having issues this morning, I immediately reverted to a backup of the site that we had taken about twelve hours ago. This is one of the reasons we might be missing some posts. As of right now, we're going to continue on this version of the database. We might be able to recover the posts made in the last twelve hours. I first want to figure out what went wrong before we make any further changes. Reverting to the backup has allowed us to get back to a working version of the site.

okay, so posts, pms all those are gone because of that? it's not some weird case of time twisting or aynthing? PHEW!
