Due to a bug in the interaction with the previous version of our store system and PayPal, users who cancelled their subscriptions on Neocodex would have to also cancel their subscription on Paypal in order to fully cancel their subscriptions. This was often really confusing for our users, especially because it wasn't written down anywhere that that is how it worked :(. A lot of our users were confused why they were continuing to get billed for another month of advanced membership even when they had cancelled on Neocodex. In order to fix this problem, we introduced a new payment method through both the credit card and Paypal payment gateways which allowed users to select whether they wanted to have their membership automatically renew.

We've just upgraded our store software to the latest version of IP.Nexus and this bug has hopefully been fixed. I have now disabled the non-automatic renewal payment methods since the store should now respect your decision to cancel and should inform Paypal of that decision.

Just wanted to let you guys know in case you were confused where that feature went :p. It is now just built in to when you stop renewing :).

As always, if you have any issues whatsoever, please email us at [email protected].
