sorry for the blur pic, is this normal?
how can I get my speed down.
its already in 0.3. -_-

from 1st pic, usual settings around 0.6 - 0.9, decent speeds.
suddenly speed drops like mad, tried adjusting down to illegit speeds, still cant seem to match my previous speed.
same com, same connection.
wonder whats wrong?

I promise you that Abrosia didn't magically change over night :p You're asking the wrong people for help here, you should be asking your service provider these types of questions. There are several things that can factor into increased net latency including bloatware, sudden increase in bandwidth usage (ISP throttling), or a change in what system you're using. It could also be completely on Neopets side of things.

I would assume it's simply on Neopets side. I'd only really be concerned if it doesn't clear up in a few days or so. Remember Neopets has been doing quite a few changes lately, so it may have increased the traffic more than normal.

He doesn't seem to understand that the changes Neopets has been placing into effect (Purge, BD Beta etc..) has had an effect on the latency experienced by users.

so are you guys experiencing the same latency issues?
if its just me, then it should not be the neopets side problem right?

You COULD also have a hidden virus on your system. I think I read somewhere that they can have an effect on overall performance, don't quote me on that though :S

But being from where you are (Singapore right?) you're not going to be getting awesome buy times anyway. I'm in Australia and I only get buy times like ~2000ms+. But when I'm using my VPN from Cali, I regularly get buy times as low as ~1000ms ;)

Also, I've noticed a slight decrease in buy speeds since they started the purge/BD beta etc but nothing notable.

My buy times have actually decreased over the past couple of weeks.

It could be Neopets being a bit slower or your ISP being a bit slower because nothing has changed with Abrosia.
