Yeah, my mom would totally get excited about $10 from a lotto ticket. I just think they're a waste though. Think about how much you spend on the lotto every day, compared to how much you win every once and a while, and you'll realize you'd have more money if you stopped buying lottery tickets.
But that's basically how the whole betting thing works, right? You never get anything, until one day you get an insignificant amount of money and this motivates you to continue trying...

Well my mom only plays them about once a month and this was just a lucky thing thinking she lost her job and that I guess. Good things happen to good people she said. Though the guy who was in front of us and won $137 spent it all on more tickets. She said that $90 would cover basically all her lotto costs she ever spent.

I don't think i've ever bought myself a lotto ticket, but one day I found a vintage Hermes bag in an op/recycled store which I now know is worth well over $1000. Muahahaha.

Someone I knew from school just won £50,000 on a scratch card. That's pretty cool. But then he posted it on facebook.... which is kinda dumb if you ask me!
Not really, that amount is large enough to be (very) happy about, but not large enough for someone to bother planning to steal it... though I guess that may depend on how rich/poor the people in your area are.
