Oh hai.

So my sister and I are wanting to plan a vacation during the Winter Break (or Dec 25-Jan 6th or so) and since she's in Cronus land (Africa, Samin-namina-eh-eh Waka Waka eh-eh), I am in charge of planning it.

So I was just wondering what your favourite vacation was. And if you've never really been anywhere, where would you WANT to go?

I guess I"ll start: I would love to go to NYC. See so many broadway shows and spend way too much money on food and shopping. Sounds like a dream to me. I could blow my life savings in a manner of days. And it would rule.

Best vacation I've been on: I went to Germany and France with my school. Me and 20 of my friends travelling Europe, seeing the culture, speaking the language and seeing the sights. It was the best trip of my life and I wish I could go back with (some of) the same people.

Share. Now. Or forever hold your peace. Amen.

My favorite place was this tiny island I visited called Peepee island in thailand(?). I was visiting my great-grandparents from Malaysia and they took me there to see the beach. This was 12 years ago, I'm much older now and I heard there was terrible damage with that earthquake. The water was so clear :( I dream about it sometimes.

I've never been out of England, been here for 19 years and counting. Haven't even moved houses, areas or nuttin. Our school trip for our last year you'd be thinking alright a nice trip to a different country? Nope. Alright at least a theme park or sumshit like Alton Towers? Nope we got a trip to a fuckin' zoo where the most exciting bit was seeing a rhino scratching it's ass on a tree.

I'd probs most like to take a trip to America but only really for the whole hip hop scene, just wanna see whats gwanin over there really :p.

I'm hoping my first time out of England will be somewhere like Afghan ;)

Thailand is awesome. I was in Bangkok last month and the nightlife there is unbelievable. Plenty of women accompanied by liquor which is really dirt cheap (the liquor). On top of that the resident DJs there actually spin things people want to hear.

Royal City Avenue, definitely one of the best places I've been to and arguably the best place for clubs in the world. I'm heading back there again next year. ^_^

    lol peepee....

    Tee hee hee.

I went to NYC once when I was 14. It was so awesome. We went to the Guggenheim and MoMA, had hot dogs (my first time eating sauerkraut!) and gyros from street vendors, and delicious pizza. Food and art. I mean, what more is there to life than food and art?

Every year, my family does to Galveston Island. There is little to do there. But that's the point. *stares at the ocean for 5 hours* I just really like the ocean. I have seen the movie "Castaway" like 50 times.

There are tons of places I'd like to go. I would like to see the Grand Canyon, or the Pyramids. Or a mountain. I have never seen a mountain before.

El Paso has plenty of those, and we're super close. :o

Some day, you should come stay with me. There are mountains everywhere around me. I would offer to go hiking with you, but since you stare at the ocean instead of swimming in it I assume you're more of the "appreciate from afar" kind of person? Either way, if you want to walk among the mountains or just stare at them and drink Shiner, we can do it :)

NYC is amazing, there's just so much to see! (and to buy! hehehe)

I'd also loved France. And whenever you're planning a summer trip, consider going to Greece, it's perfect.

I wish I could go to NYC, but my sister was there not too long ago and we'd rather relax than do things. We're thinking of Dominican Republic. oooohhh money

If you can tour Southeast Asia and are interested in that kind of thing, it's amazing - definitely a different kind of world. :)
Closer to home though San Francisco is probably my favorite city ever. There's always something to do and it's not as plastic as Los Angeles where I am now.
