"Over the years like a person a year would get fired with zero warning... Everyone would be like WTF and the person would be dumbfounded. I was always completely terrified I was going to get fired, and it did happen just like that... Month later, fired. shrug"
10/10, would read again
Enjoying this thread immensely.

Thanks for the link. I didn't even know reddit had a /r/neopets.
Ha, it's reddit. If it exists it has a subreddit.

I just searched a few things I'm interested in and get "there doesn't seem to be anything here".
Good ( °‿ゝ°)
But that's pretty a pretty neat AMA~

So Neopets is basically a cesspool of pedophiles...
Not really surprised by that. I assume all websites that have alot of kids on them are.

There wasn't anything too interesting in there. A lot of it was about how they don't freeze someone randomly and always have a reason. Some interesting things that I remember from the thread:Um so everything they said got deleted, why is this?
- They are very aware of Neocodex and other sites in our category
- They freeze based on a pattern of breaking rules. It's interesting that she didn't mention any automated freezings occurred even though we know that exists. I suppose it's because it's a program that takes care of it so monitors don't even see it.
- Monitors don't handle unfreezings so it's usually not the person who saw you break the rules that unfreezes your account. They are in two different departments.
- Monitors read forum posts and neomails and pretty much any type of content you are adding into the system

The user deleted her account. I guess TNT doesn't like ex-employees talking behind their backs.

Blah, I missed the AMA before it got deleted too; could you clarify on what is meant by pattern of breaking rules? Do you mean they would only ban you if they have no doubt that you are cheating? (i.e. sending impossible scores or refreshing for an hour after being restock banned) Or is it like they observe that you exhibit a pattern of suspicious behavior, such as restocking or autobuying for 10 hours each day and then ban you?
