In my logs I saw Abrosia buying something with a negative profit. Not a big loss like -1K.
Anyone else experiencing this?
I have my profit settings on +2K.

Do you know which item it was?

It happens occasionally, we do what we can to avoid outliers but sometimes they can slip through.

Yeah it was 1/3 of chili pizza or something, I saved the log, will look it up tomorrow.

Weird thing was, the negative profit was logged by abrosia. Profit or the lack of it in this case in the database was right, just abrosia messing up.

Now that's even weirder than just a regular outlier price. :p

I know what an outlier is, and If I make a program or simulation where the sole purpose is to make profit, and I have a negative value. It worries me more then when I have an value that doesn't fall in the treshold of the positive.

Anyway I thought it was curious, and that you guys might be interested to find out if it was an observational error, in Abrosia.

We know about this pizza issue.... It's come up before, remember? :p It affects all the 1/3 or 2/3 pizzas I think.

I think it has to do with the item name having a slash in it, and it's pulling up another item in the itemdb dictionary somehow. Ok well, that theory doesn't pan out since it is LOGGING the negative number, knowing it is negative.... Something has to be wrong with the comparison code, except I have no idea why it is just pizza being affected.

The only way I can properly test this is if I generate some fake source code with a pizza on the page, and see how the program responds to it. I'll do this soon. :p

Bought 1/3 Chilli Deluxe Pizza: 1377 NP in 1747ms (Est. Profit: -1383 NP)
This right there is telling me that it is finding the wrong info for this item. The price in the DB for this item is 627 NP. Stocks in the main shop for 1383 NP (so it is assuming this item has a market value of 0 NP.... :/)

EDIT: Found the problem....
5\/6 chilli deluxe pizzafood_chilidog_pizza5
2\/3 chilli deluxe pizzafood_chilidog_pizza4
chilli deluxe pizza slicefood_chilidog_pizza1
whole chilli deluxe pizzafood_chilidog_pizza6
1\/3 chilli deluxe pizzafood_chilidog_pizza2
half chilli deluxe pizzafood_chilidog_pizza3

It was adding \ to every / I had in the dictionary for some reason... no idea why. It was treating the pizzas as an unknown item. Should be fixed now. :D

Great :)
Hmm in my settings I haven't enabled the Purchase items not found in database option.

Edit: Or did I on my mac in my office. Going to look it up :p

I meant it was weird because I thought you'd already fixed it last time it came up. :p

Ok, now I really need to mimic the page HTML to see what is going on. :/

So it's not something to do with regex parsing?
