I ask because I have been using the default settings and it didnt buy anything in 6 hours. I have 90k NP on hand. Maybe I should make my own lists?

You are most likely not in a very good shop, you can either keep restarting the program until you get into a nicer shop or you can make your own lists because the program will take you to the shop your list is for.
(You can look in the bottom left corner to see what shop you're in)

Edit: That or you are just unlucky, I've never gone that long without getting anything but I've heard of people who have (especially in extremely crowded shops or ones that don't restock often)

The default settings are the recommended and tested safe settings.

Anything beyond that and you're increasing the risks you're taking.

I had the same experience when I first started using Abrosia. I tried Spooky and Foods as the popular suggestion, but nada! I played around with shops until finding a couple that resulted in buys. Keep experimenting with shops Also, imo your settings aren't the issue.. but if you do want to change from default, I suggest you make test buys in Tiki Tack Shack to make sure the new settings don't result in crazy buy times.
