Also, I came here thinking this was a thread about long last names, and I was going to say that Drak probably wins that contest.

Isn't that the guy who called the mayor of New York City the "King of New York" right after September 11th?

Spelling it out on state tests is an awful time.

My last name is Papadopoulos.

Haha your last name is pretty awesome. My parent gave me the shortest middle name "J". Not sure if it counts for anything but I've gotten used to the scoldings from my former teachers in earlier years when they tell me to spell out my "Full middle name".

Because I am from a Romani family, we have this thing were you have your Christian/official name and the name they call you by.
They had these attendance lists and in primary school they would always call for my Christian name and I never answered -.-"
Going to high school my parents decided it would be a smart move to officially acknowledge my Romani name.
It's really annoying having to spell out everything for call center employees and everything.. having a last name that consists off 25 letters. a first name and three middle names.

I have two friends with lastnames: Iraghulbandara and Lukumaramumbage. High school was a fun time for them.

Really? That's my middle name as well which I've alwys hated. It was supposed to be in honor of all the family members of mine with a "J" name but it just ends up making me look silly when trying to explain that "No, it's just J."Haha your last name is pretty awesome. Haha, are we from the same family? That is hilarious, it's for the exact same reason. We should start an organization called Victims of single letter middle names.

So cruel to children. There needs to be more awareness about it. I'd join that group immediately!
