Hi,

I'm a new member here who just purchased an advanced membership to go along with a renewed interest in neo. When using abrosia the only time I can purchase any items is when I use Igloo only. When trying to do main shops on a 2 week old account I am unable to buy anything. I've gone by scots guide for settings and have been trying stamps, spooky foods, books, clothing, and cannot buy a thing. It's not even attempting to buy anything either which is confusing. My profit margin is set at 2000 so I figured it would work. The only way I've ever been able to autobuy anything is using seed autobuyer and a manual list I created using the guidelines provided here. What's the problem with abrosia?

Isn't two weeks too young of an account to see any good items in the Neopets shops?

Yeah, remember what rarity items your entitled to grab, and after that check the item database to see which shops most profitable for what you can get. Pharmacy or bakery might have a bit of profit for such a young account, but not a great deal.

Yes, but when I created a manual list for seed autobuyer I was able to get a few 30k profit stamps (coco stamp). But when using abrosia I've been unable to get anything whatsoever.

I have a 3 week old account and I am still able to grab some good items, just don't put the profit margins sky high.

You'd be better off buying an aged shell and using that to AB with. When you're 2 weeks old, you can't even see r99 items or buy them. However, with 3 year old+ accounts you will be able to see all items and also visit the Attic (which is very profitable).

Or you could just buy a 3 month shell.

I'd like to buy a shell account but I can't even see the TP. It seems like becoming an advanced member would allow that. I've seen other sites to buy items, points, etc, and all appear illegitmate.

You need 10 posts, and need to have been here at least a week to see the trading post( I believe). It's the same for everyone weather you have bought advanced or not.

Indeed. It's set up that way to prevent any instances where, for example, a recently banned scammer could just create a new account and start scamming again.

I'm still only getting random events through the main shop AB and have pretty fast settings applied to abrosia. I'm 16 days old now so should I be snagging items? It's been running daily for about 6 hours when I'm at the computer and nothing at all. When I leave the computer and it goes to sleep abrosia immediately quits functioning.

I have this same problem on the mac version, it's fine if I switch to windows though...

Are you using manual lists?
I've been having great success with the default non-adv. settings with manual lists.
Also, remember that you have to have the correct shop ID when using them.

Just an update... I was beginning to ponder whether or not abrosia would work for me and then something happened. I'm only about 18 days old on neo so I guess good items finally began to appear in the shops. Within an hour of restocking stamp I had already restocked 4 100k+ stamps so I must say I am very pleased. Good job creators.
