I've been autobuying for a while now, I try to keep it as safe as possible so I keep the default refresh times and usually try to autobuy only around 5 hours at time and its been pretty good that way. But my question is..

Can I autobuy on my side account, and continue to play on my main? If the answer is yes, is it safe? How safe?

No, not unless you have a proxy running on one of the accounts (different IP) if they see you on two accounts at once, its a huge red flag that your autobuying.
Its not safe at all unless you proxy.
