If you could have any one super power (Ex. Super Strength, Heat Vision, Eternal Life, etc.), what super power would you choose and why that power?

To further discussion beyond that, once you have your power what would you do with it? What would you accomplish with your life once you had that power? Would you use the power to help the world be a better place or would you use the power to further your own selfish ambitions?

Super Power: Memory Reconstruction
Good: Help psychiatric patients in the trauma ward recover faster and integrate them into society faster
Bad: Make the landlord think I pay the rent each month. I can mindfuck people for my personal enjoyment.

Not sure if this qualifies as a power:
Thought creation (think of something, like a puppy, and it shows up right in front of you, or wherever you thought of putting it. I feel there's another name for this, I just can't remember what it is if there is one)
Good: easily create buildings, like hospitals, with a thought, along with schools so I could help everyone in poor countries very quickly
Bad: Create animes everywhere (like thinking the world of naruto and becoming a ninja. so...putting myself in animes would be what i'd do) and then get lost in those worlds and not actually help anybody else.. And then i could create things that might destroy the earth.

If that doesn't count: telekinesis
Good: easily help people injured under cars/buildings, help with rescue teams
Bad: slam people into things to get exactly what I want.

I'd go with the bad nearly every time (unless I actually felt compelled enough to help anyone)

Without the mental capacity to compute the effects of your actions, the moral and ethical considerations of time-travel are insurmountable. It's a terrible power.

My superpower would be food. I could mentally will any food I desired into being, in any quantity. Be it something I had eaten before or an entirely new creation, I could think it and it would appear before me, with a prim presentation. For good, I would end world hunger (after satisfying my darkest food-related desires). Without the need for agriculture, however, I would send the world economy in turmoil. It would be interesting to see how it worked out. I expect the food I created would be deemed "unfit for consumption" and "unnatural" (think GMOs) and there would be movements for "organic" (heh) food. As we've seen with food aid ravaging the economies of developing nations, having unlimited supplies of food would shake things up enough for governments to want to stay out of it. Goons of the worldwide agriculture industries would likely have me killed before completely uprooting their livelihoods.

You could help smuggle drugs internationally, saving the lives and dignities of thousands of mules!

But seriously, I would love to have finely tuned senses paired with insane reflexes. (I couldn't pick one over the other... )
Then I could definately fufill my dreams of surviving in the wildnerness and what not.

Edit: Would probably be for selfish purposes (other than helping out my husband...and maybe odd acts of kindness) since I tend to keep to myself.

...that requires you already have imagination. Maybe that's the super power you need.

I have tons of imagination. I just didn't really think about terrorizing people with statues.
