I just want to start off by saying I am a broke college student who can't afford the advanced membership, so please don't yell at me to get one . Anyways, I've just recently installed the free abrosia version 3 days ago, but am getting pretty much NO WHERE on it. The first day I got about 5 items (decent profits), but now if I'm lucky I'll only get one item a day. Am I doing something wrong? Or is the free version near useless?

It sounds like either your Neopets account is too young, you don't have enough NP on hand, you're using bad settings or you have a bad connection/proxy. The free version of Abrosia has proven to be very profitable for a lot of people as long as you're not doing anything to hinder it.

Well my account is 6 1/2 years old so I think I have access to everything in the shops by now. Is it the refresh rate? Mine is 8-10 secs, but I know you can't go below 8 with free anyways. Also...what exactly is a proxy? I'm technologically challenged . I usually carry 200k on me as the program usually deposits money in the bank so I'll have a max of 200k anyways.

Depends where you AB and when. I've made over 30 million using the free version with default settings.

I AB in food, nowhere else, and i get 600k a day.(With default settings.)

here's a Lil wait to cheat at the free version, if there are more than 18 items in the shop, stop it and start it and it will go to a different store, keep repeating until you get one that is filled with what U want.

Your using default settings. You did not change the refresh times or OCR etc. Also don't AB in high risk shops because it is usually hard to get items with default. Personally even though I am advanced I like to be safe and use defaults. Maybe lower the refresh but that is it. The only thing I really use is the select shops option.

But in the free version you can't choose where you shop...do you (personally) just keep closing out the system until you get the shop you want?

I thought the lowest refresh rate for the free version is 8 seconds? That's what I'm using now (8-10 secs)
