My igloo buy times are ridiculously fast. Around 138 ms consistently. This is ONLY in Igloo and Attic, even though my MS Pre-Haggle/Igloo/AAA time is set to .5-.9. I've read in some threads that this is normal in Igloo because it doesn't calculate from refresh-to-buy, but rather click-to-buy time. Is this true? I just don't want to get frozen over Igloo on my wicked old main xD

You'll be fine. I constantly get ~156-172ms in Attic and have been for over 6 months without any issues. Also, if you're that worried about being frozen, why use your 'wicked old main'?

Additionally, is it buy speeds or refresh times that TNT tends to freeze?

 

I've always though refresh rates were for rs bans and speeds were for ice.

 

I've read varying opinions stating that it's actually the refresh times, session length, profit margins, and arguably the shop you resetock at that carry the most weight in freeze rate.

For Attic, the freezes tend to be more based on amount of items stocked/transferred on one account from my personal experience in the past. Not 100% sure on Main Shops.

I generally have a session open in Attic for hours on end until I get my 5 items for the day and I'm still fine so far. I think it is a bunch of variables that send up flags in the end, but as long as you take it easy and don't get too greedy, then you should be fine.

It's my only account. Neopets account creation has been bugged over the last month. I can't create new accounts from any IP, browser, location, or email. I'm using pretty safe settings, going for lower consistent profits rather than big tickets. I'm not worried about being frozen but several 150ms buys were frightening me! Thanks for the reassurance.

 

Can TNT tell the difference between using the AB browser to restock and using my normal (Safari) browser when I'm not restocking?

No problems

Also, just note that those buy speeds are only ok in Attic and Igloo, NOT main shops. You will be frozen quite quickly if you RS something in under a second.

Not sure on the browser thing, you might have to wait for someone who knows more about that to pop in

You can extract your browsers User Agent (like browsing to here http://www.useragentstring.com/ ) and copy it into the "Custom user agent" field unter Abrosias "Web Settings" to make it look more like you're using the same browser.
