The bomber is the one on the bottom left. One of my Fraternity brothers took this picture, and another two of my brothers are in this picture. Apparently the bomber also lived in the dorm I did, years separated.
Never met the individual personally, but two degrees of separation is way too close for comfort. The day after the bombing he went to my college gym to work out, like nbd. Wow.

They're from Chechnya apparently and Chechnya is a majority Muslim area so it's pretty likely. I was pretty surprised to hear that they were Chechen since they usually target Russia and I've never heard of them attacking any other countries.
