What do you think about the new cookie (175nc) which allows you to donate NC items for 4 days?

Apparently you can get a small amount ot nc back, some nc items or np (I've heard about rare np items you normally get when you redeem nc cards?)

I'm wondering the same thing Kate, I can immagine the money tree rush it'll cause if they actually go to the tree. I'm thinking, it just gives you the reward, and the items disappear. (because all the NC fanatics would be screaming about how unfair it was that you could now pick up NC items at the money tree.)

No, it doesn't go to the money tree. I've been stalking it since they released them, no NC items appeared. Though the money tree did get an update.

Well, that's comforting. Now we won't have boards screaming about how unfair everything is. Wait...we'll still have those, people who can't buy NC items will be screaming about how those who can now can possible get "free" NC by trading in their items (such as trading in duplicates). At least there's no money tree rush for NC items. I'd go buy a cookie, but I don't have enough NC.

Ironic, buy an NC cookie...to possibly get NC back. (It's probably much less than what the cookie cost). Plus how it gives you a number you have to donate. (imagine if you didn't have enough duplicates, or stuff you didn't want. Waste of NC then that you bought the cookie)

I checked my SDB to see if this cookie would be any use and I have 8 I Heart NC Flags, 7 Prissy Miss Bows, and 6 Air Faerie Bubble Necklaces right off the bat.

Bought the cookie and I'll update this post with what I get.

I agree, but the cookie gives you random things from the mall so you're still getting junk to donate lol! but yeah, if you don't have the amount needed at the time it is a waste.

 

There's still people complaining that it's unfair, and this one being the most since it gives out NP items... as far as I know it's only giving out old NC card prizes, which some may be worth a lot.

 

The mystery capsule also has hideous items, the capsule itself is much nicer. The highest amount of NC I saw given out so far has been 150nc for 4 items. Lowest was 25nc.

 

 

Also, you can use these on side accounts too!

Oh no...be ready for even more complaining boards. Those complaining that people shouldn't get NC items off the tree (NC fanfatics) and people complaining about others complaining (as they can now get NC items off the tree, when before they might have not been able to do so).

Editorial questions will be flying in. (do the cookies also give out NP items? If they do..imagine every board being swamped with nothing but complaints.)

 

It's a bit annoying to me, to be honest, that people can now pick up NC items without having to pay for them. (I'm not an NC fanatic, but I can't say I'm completely fine with this). 

Look at me, complaining about complaining while I'm complaining a bit....Complanception!

 

Would you mind posting the screenshot? (just cover everything as usual). I'd like to see this for myself, as I can imagine those items are being snapped up fast).

I think it's nice that users that can't buy NC can pick them up from the money tree, but of course knowing that more people will be showing up there now, especially those that are donating, so they can pick the items back up, or at least try to.

What do people donate? Bows, tennis balls, I ♥ nc flags, ... nothing worth grabbing ... I guess XD

Some of the old NP NC card prizes are that expensive?  It is nice that those who can't by NC can finally get some nice items, though. I'm trying to get my mac to set F5 as refresh so I can sit there refreshing.

Wish my router worked with my windows 8. (can't update the software, because geek squad changed all the passwords and usernames. So we have to call them again). I'd be able to use the neo suite's money tree grabber program. (and countless others)

For those without any access to NC, it could be their chance to finally get some NC items, so perhaps a small rush of those without access to NC. Not too big of a rush though.

I think there will be a rush because of those who can't buy nc, even though the items will be pure crap lol, and those who want to get as much they can out of the cookies will be there to snatch them up too.

So basically you have to hope you get more than 175/4=43.75 NC per day (given you only donate junk) to only outweight the worth of the cookie itself. Doesn't sound like a good deal..

In the end of the day, I don't care about losing "profit" from these items. I'm glad I'm getting rid of a lot of items without droning through clicking each individual item. Plus my SDB is full of crap. Ex:
