I'm not sure where to post this or what to title it -- so feel free to rename it and move it if need be but I happened across a pastebin link on pyro699's past status updates that listed the potential profit for each store in regards to the items it sells being in different profit margins (2,500+, 5,000+, 10,000+, etc).

I yanked it and threw it in to excel because I wanted to be able to sort it and I also started color coding them in regards to potential risk (red being risky, then orange, then yellow, then green, black/gray for unprofitable shops).

I don't know how many people around here use stuff like this but if anyone wants to help me color code or just wants the sheet for their own use I wanted to share.

Edit: added a screenshot of what it looks like, lol.

Wow, this is some cool stuff! Over how long an interval were these numbers taken?

I'm really not sure and you'd have to ask Pyro699, as I snatched it from a pastebin he had shared on the 30th of April (http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=9aZ79CD4)

it's nice stuff, but one thing of note is definitely the sellability of the items available. For example, garden centre is approximately 6th in terms of profitable items, but you'll never see it 'cause no one will clear the shop for you. And no one is interested in your stuff so you'll have to sell it at a lower profit.

That is definitely something to make note of. I've currently just being ABing in the clothing shop and while I don't get restock banned for it and I get quite a few items, they're not the easiest to move. I really enjoy the wearables though. I'd love to know what other peoples favorite stores to AB in and how regularly they get restock banned in them and if they seem to notice a difference in the rate of bans versus the store they're in -- if those are even connected, I don't know. I'm still super new to all of this, I'm just trying to make sense of it all as much as I can.

I downloaded the chart! Thanks for sharing it. If nothing else it at least helps users eliminate non-profitable shops from their daily RS routines.

I'm a huge fan of spreadsheets but that might be a biased fandom due to how much I use them on a regular basis. Glad someone has a use for it!

This. Many of the profitable shops like Battle and Defence Magic are full of junk most of the time. You can refresh for hours there in hopes of seeing a good restock, or refresh at somewhere like the Bookshop where the profit margins are lower but you are guaranteed some profitable restocks at least.
