Hey all. Known neocodex for some time but never bothered to register. So I was a neopets players YEARS ago but I was an on and off type. So I went inactive for 2 yrs and poof, my neopets account was gone. So really recently, less than 3 months ago, I started playing neopets again and built up some NPs and items ( maybe total in worth of 7m) ? Not sure. But now, I've got hold of another account with over 300 avatars, many site even trophies, stamps, game trophies etc, basically, a good account, so since my old account does have much besides items and NPs, I was thinking of just transferring all my items and posessions to this new account and make my old account as a side or somthing of that sort. My questions are,
1. the previous IP address is in the US while I am in Asia now and I heard advice given to me is that to change every info ( like passwords, name, email to update the security ), I'd have to wait a minimum of 24hrs for each info to be changed. Is that necessary? Because what about people going outta the country for a vaca or for university?
2. I have quite an amt of items and NPS to transfer so how do u reckon I transfer them? slowly or it doesnt matter if I do it on a large scale?
3. should I inform TNT that I want to switch my account to another main and keep my current one as a side, to prevent miscommunication and result in freezing?
the account(new) is gifted.. soooo?

1. Yes, update everything obviously, especially the password/email.

2. If you value your accounts, do not transfer a ton of items between accounts that are on the same IP when one of them was obviously belonging to someone else previously.

3. Although some might disagree, I play it very, very safe and have only once had a good main account frozen. My advice to you is this: self-freeze the 3 month old account and kiss it all goodbye.

hi! What I meant for question 1 is, is it necessary to wait 24hrs for every info to be changed? can't I change at least the email and password together? Instead of waiting an interval of 24hrs?
2. so do u reckon i use a proxy or slowly transfer it and once I'm done transferring, delete the account OR  should I send most NPs and valuables through another friend and then to my new account?
3. what's the reason? that must have sucked man .

Sell everything and only transfer a few valuable items.

I don't think it would help transferring them to your friend first.

Just go for it. It's risky, just put a note saying you recovered an old account on a pet page. As above, fuck TNT.

Put up a notice stating that you're moving shop to another account. If you're tied for time then i suggest getting your big ticket stuff over and selling up the rest in your old one

But I really do not want to rish THAT big, I don't want even my old account that I spent effort on, to be frozen. oh hi futarama, you're quite famous here. haha. And ceterisparibus, why the econs term? haha! But Idon't understand, if I sell stuff on my old account, how do I even transfer the NPs? Is it not risky to transfer a huge sum of np via trades/auctions/shop? damn the IP address thing and chain freezing. ==

When I transferred to a new main I self iced  my old one as I only keep one neo account.   I transferred over 200 items in neocards in trades and nothing happened I mean if neo reads your inboxes they saw me talking to a good friend I was transferring everything and self icing my old main as added that friend to my new main but meh whatever. I guess do whatever feels right. I know some have switched to a new main and kept there old account and had no problems and others got all sides and there main. I just like to play it safe so only keep one neo account.
