Because I got an e-mail saying I had an invoice...does that mean it's automatically paid? I don't want another month of advanced, but I don't know how to cancel it, if I have to.

You cancel the subscription via paypal, if there is one. I don't think I've ever had to purchase advanced soooo *shrug*.

Yes, go into PayPal and disable recurring payments to Neocodex. That will make sure that nothing gets automatically renewed.
The invoice gets automatically generated. I removed it, since it was a renewal invoice.

Just curious through - if paypal were to renew my purchase but I don't have anything in it, would it still register?

It would probably draw from your credit card/bank account in that case.
