It's just that black people in general seem to be overrepresented in GIFs. I wonder if there is some subconscious racism going on - let's all laugh at the black man/woman with the OTT facial expressions/mannerisms!
Anyway, this is probably treading into sensitive territory (not to mention off-topic), so I'll stop.
