So I finally got it to run again but I'm still struggling with the program.

I went paid so I could try to fiddle with the settings - but I still  can't seem to use it successfully.

Out of the 15 hours I've let it run (Broken up in 2 & 3 hour increments, some of which were unpaid and some of which were paid) I've only had luck once - and that mostly ended up landing me with stuff I had to put in my shop for less then I paid because when priced at the shop wizard lowest price was below what I paid.  And even with it being the lowest on the SW it still just sits in my shop waiting for someone to buy it 3 days later.  So at this point, Abrosia has cost me both real and neopoint money but hasn't made me anything.

My wait delay is 4 & 9 (I've inched it down slowly from 5 - 15 hoping that would help)

My profit margin is set at 150%

I know this has to work because so many others have enjoyed the benefits of the program.

I'm not looking to make 1 million a day as I've seen others report - I'd settle for 10 - 20k from Abrosia (I'm making NP other ways as well)...

What am I doing wrong?

What is your minimum profit value set at, how old is your account and which shops are you doing?

In my experience the shops you refresh in is the most important factor (assuming all your other settings are set correctly). Some shops are just perpetually full of junk, or the items move so fast that you don't get anything unless you have a fast connection are live in the US.

The account is 32 months old

Minimum profit value is at 150%

I've tried: Post office, Books, Fresh Foods, Pizza, Faerie Pets & Chocolate.

Chocolate is where I managed to buy a bit - but can't sell any of it and like I said - I had to price it for less then I paid.

There's another minimum profit value above the % one, what is that set to?

Try disabling the % setting and see how it does with just the 2k minimum profit.

I can try that again - but only about 3 hours of that 15 had it set at 150%

I had it set at the 2k when I got the bad buy so I thought maybe a buffer of a little more would help keep me from spending money just to lose it.

Try resetting to default settings for a bit and let it move through a few shops.

Just lurking stamps is OK but it's nice to have a few shops to let it move through.

I use defaults and 2k profit. Do just fine.

Maybe I'm just having really bad luck?

I had the default settings for the first two days because I was non paid... that still didn't help.

I know others are doing great - that's why I figure I must be doing something wrong, I just don't know what.

I've read dozens of guides, and followed directions...  still just not having any luck at all.

Could it have anything to do with the speed of my computer?

I have a hard time with Keyquest mini games because everyone seems to have a faster computer then I do.

My computer is so outdated there are games on Bigfish I can't play.  It's so old Sims 3 was just coming out when I bought it.

That shouldn't make much difference, it's the connection speed which is the most important part.

www.speedtest.net

Try your connection to a server in California (I think that's where the neo servers are based..or is it New York?). If the connection time to a server in Cali/New York is slow, you could try using a VPN (virtual private network) like this: http://www.neocodex....ing-amazon-ec2/

It may also just be bad luck.

Ok, ran the test and got:

Ping: 111ms
Download 5.17Mbps
Upload: .97Mbps

Would that affect my Abrosia use?  Should I adjust settings to work better with that?
Or am I indeed just having really, really bad luck?

It sounds like you've just been a bit unlucky so far.

What's your auto pricing on SW?

That may be why you're pricing below what you paid.

If you AB in Clothes, Food, etc. you should get a lot of low profit items.

My speeds are slow but ive made alot off of autobuying. The biggest thing is that restocks are random. Sometimes you will go into a shop and get an item as soon as you start it. Also how much items are in the shop has a huge affect on how frequently it will restock. I would stick to books, fresh foods, and the bakery. When you want to autobuy look in those three shops and see how many items are in there. I wont autobuy in a shop that has more than 18 items in it. You could always clear out the shop a little and see if that helps. I went a whole day without seeing anything.. Its all luck :)
