Don't get too excited guys, this looks like it will be one of those mini-events to celebrate Halloween rather than a full-blown plot with prize points at the end of the day.

At the end of the day, I just don't give a fuck about neopets anymore. The main reason why I even read the news and junk is to solely be accurately with my insults towards the disparity of the corporation.

What a fitting screen name!

 

Here's a quite easy solution for the step (stolen from the Neoboards):

 

1. First play the melody for Corbin to tell you how far away you're from the goal. (Goal is to get the melody to 0 mDbs)
2. Take the flower in the first column and raise it up or down then play the melody again. If the "far away number" has increased go the opposite direction. Keep going the direction that decreases the number until either the "far away number" starts going up again (in which that case place the plant back to where it would decrease the number again) or you hit an end.
3. Repeat the process for the other 3 columns.
4. Puzzle is solved, get your prize, and take a nap.

If your plant(s) gets stuck, just refresh the page.

The puzzle is so easy I was a little disappointed. I hope that if they follow this with more puzzles they will make those more challenging. Then again, probably shouldn't get my hopes up as I expect they'll need to keep it accessable.

Any prize that is easy to get will be trash, simply because the will the economy will be flooded with it. Even useful items like PBs or codestones get heavily deflated.

 

In order for any plot prize to be worthwhile, it must be very difficult to get. But then people will complain that the plot is too hard or that too much effort is required.

 

So basically, TNT cannot win.
