Not many people probably know but this is actually my third username, and I've had it so long that I can't actually remember how I came up with it.

I thought it came about because of April fools. Most the staff did something weird to their name I believe.

I've been using this name for most forums/websites I take part in for around 8 years now. "G" stands for Goodwill, name of my town. I'm a dude hence the "man". Real name is Camron, Cam for short. So there you have it G-man-cam. BWaahhaha

First username was BluePenance. Blue being my favorite color and Penance being my favorite comic book character, Mahvel baby!

 

Got it changed to blue since that's what everyone here was calling me and the original person was long gone. Plus, I think, a lot of people either don't know how to pronounce Penance, lolwut, or need a second look because they think my username was BluePenis.

Whether it's as simple a story as "I liked it" or as intricate as it being spelled out in the stars (most likely while under the influence of some psychedelic) it's still interesting to hear everyones tale!

Hm I came up with my name playing diablo 2 randomly as a kid lol. Just always stuck with it sense.

Well, I got my username back in highschool. I was hanging out with a bunch of friends, and they all had names they used online, but I didn't. I mentioned it to my friend's girlfriend, and she said, "You give me two minutes, and I'll come up with a name that works for you." About a minute later, she said, "You can be Plunk!" So I started using Plunk for everything. I used it for my xbox gamertag, I used it on here, I used it on Neopets, I used it EVERYWHERE. About a year later, I was hanging out with her and my friend, and I was playing Guitar Hero 3, and I rocked the hell out of her high score. When I put in my name, I put in Plunk, and she said, "Woah, you're actually still using that?!" I said I was, obviously. She replied, "You know what Plunk is right?" I did not. "It's the sound of shit hitting the toilet water."

Tried to change my name, People still called me Plunk. I have accepted my destiny as an onomatopoeia for dropping a deuce.

I needed a username that was different from the one I used everywhere that the girls' father's psycho stalker ex wife knew about. I picked Nymh as in the end of 'pseudonym' and added an H a'la The Secret of Nimh. I started using it on sites that I didn't want her finding me on, or if my original online name was taken. I used it here because my original online name is my Neo username and that would just be a bad idea.

Immediately it was revealed that people are usually too lazy to read my actual spelling and assume my name is 'Nymph.'. I don't really understand this phenomenon.
