There was a shop that was at the top of the user shops area for a long time. They had hundreds of items for sale all the time and in their shop, there was some kind of riddle. It talked about how they had 'millions of np' and thousands of items, tons of rare stuff, paint brushes, etc, and then the end was that they were dying of cancer. And the riddle part was what did they have? And then you were supposed to nm them the answer to the riddle.

Does anyone else remember this?

Dang, dudes. Napi was just trying to start an interesting conversation of old Neopets myths and legends and you're all just bitter.

I didn't start playing on Neo until 2005ish and I was terrible at everything so I can't think of anything that was there then that I can't find now.

I am dreading the site toolbar arrangement. I miss the sidebars that were actual sidebars like the create a pet button was an egg. I also miss the mini nav bar when you go to neopian central that had the SDB, Foodshop, guilds, etc. I hate how the navigation (or even neopets in general) became more text oriented and less image-based in the sense of the small things that adds to the magic of neopets.

I think Sweeney meant that 'fun' was what used to be on Neopets that he can't find anymore, not sarcasm directed at my comment.

I don't think it's neolegal now, but I remember the shop being up for a long time and it being one of those giant mega popular shops.
