A few weeks ago I ABed a stamp (worth about 700k) only to have it mysteriously disappear from my inventory. I had it up in the trading post, I cancelled the lot, let Abrosia run a little and when I logged back in manually to put it back up on the TP... it was gone. I ABed another one yesterday (note: same EXACT item) and again, it disappears. I've checked my SDB, my shop, my gallery, my sales history, my album... but nothing. As far as I'm concerned I didn't get a random event either.

 

Does anyone know what the issue could be here? Am I being CGed? I have 10mil+ in the bank and the only thing that ever disappears is this one stamp so I don't think I'm being hacked. Is Abrosia doing something that I'm not aware of? Is this stamp glitched...? According to Jellyneo this stamp is NOT a new stamp and there are plenty of these up on the TP. I guess it's technically possible that a random event stole BOTH stamps and I just missed it... but I don't exactly believe in coincidences. WTF is going on here.

 

Edit: I know this all sounds incredibly stupid. I am a 20+ year old recent college grad so I'd like to think that I'm not a complete moron... but still... I've tried looking for this thing for half an hour now and I just don't see how it could have just gone away. The only explanation would be someone logged into my account and sent it to him/herself but again... I have 10mil+ and rarer items... not sure why they would take this exact stamp twice.

 

Edit 2: Just for clarification, it isn't the only item in my inventory. I keep 25+ items on hand at one time.

Maybe someone else got access to your shell? Or TNT is stealing them, for some reason, but of course TNT would just ban you instead of silently taking them away.

Is the account one you purchased? I've heard of people selling accounts and still accessing them after they are sold. Some people don't secure the password and email after purchasing because 1) They are too trusting. 2) They don't want to draw attention from TNT. 

No it's my own account. I don't share it with anyone so I'm the only one who knows the password. After my last stamp disappeared I actually ended up changing the password and checking the email. The email is still my email and even after the password was changed... the item disappears again.

I don't see how they would. I only use the account to AB so I don't really visit any other pages (no chances to be CGed). I've also ABed items worth more/around the same and yet those stamps have stayed for weeks. It's just this ONE particular item that seems to be disappearing.

Are you sure you aren't just extremely unlucky?  You said you cancelled the lot, which I'm assuming means you left the stamp in your inventory while Abrosia was running.  It is completely possible a random event caused the item to disappear and it did not show up on the log (which happens to me occasionally).

I've considered that possibility. But the same exact item twice? I'm not sure what the odds of that are but I'm assuming it's incredibly small...

If it's the only item in your inventory...then the odds are higher.

Actually, it happens quite often when running Abrosia. You think of the amount of page refreshes it does. The longer you AB for, the higher the chance of a random event stealing your item.

Probably, Phantom steal your stamp, because is your unique object into your inventory (100% probability)
