I don't think that's a problem though...

 

(it's certainly not big enough of a problem to fix, anyway...)

OH those; yeah. That makes sense. It's not a huge deal or anything, but I guess it could be abused in a way.

Yeah I figured as much. Not that big of an issue, but I suppose you'd get 2 notifications if someone quoted you and used @(yournick).

The @ is mandatory for the notification. If you edit or delete the post that the @ member is in the user still receives a notification.
