We're going to be changing this from now on. People want to 'bicker' off topic? Do it either via PM or in Chit-Chat.

So we'll never see Sweeney post again? o.o

Of course we will, as long as it's on the topic of the OP, any sort of argument/disagreement (within the rules of course) shall be allowed. Anything seen as a blatant 'bitch-fest' between two or more members that does not contribute to the thread/topic will be removed.

Also, to stay on topic:

My New Years Resolution is to get back in shape. Proper shape, none of this casual walking around the block or riding my bike shit. The kind where I get my home gym back up and running and sweat my fat ass off. Another one would be to buy a new car. I have been missing owning my own car (driving the missus' car atm) to drive around in.

Getting in shape is one of mine too. Good luck to ya.

I just decided I want to do one small project on the house a week in the weeks that aren't garden intensive. (like put a shelf up in the girls' room, paint the windowsill in the bathroom, put vent covers on the vents, etc)

Hmm, 3 Years and this is my first Post

This year I really didn't do much;

  • I did learn a few things in programming
  • Made progress on a webpage I've been working on
  • Got banned across various games
  • Made new friends (That's always good right?)
  • Went out way more than last year
  • Got my Drivers License :D
  • Unfortunately I got lazy and didn't even try and go gym the entire year :(

Plans for Next Year;

  • I hope to finally have at least a prototype of a program I've had in mind for a while now
  • Get in shape...again
  • Go out even more = More Alcohol
  • Meet more people
  • Get good grades :D
  • Be more active on sites I signup to
  • Go overseas (Maybe America)
  • Generally be Happier
  • Maybe look for a partner  :rolleyes:

I reluctantly welcome the new year, because a lot is going to change, and I'm not too partial to change. The biggest change is that I will be on a different shift, which we call Mids (working midnight - 8AM). My resolution is to use this change in my every day schedule to get in better shape. I used to have a chiseled 6-pack, but I drink more beer than I need to and eat too many sweets - that chiseled 6-pack is long gone. I'll skip going to the gym for the first week so I don't have to deal with the "new year, new me" people who have no idea what they're doing, and just get in the way.

My new years resolution is to finally get off my butt and get my teeth whitened.  I work in management and I'm always paranoid that ill lose out on promotions because my teeth aren't sparkly.  ( I brush 3 times a day, mouth wash, floss, and use whitening strips but I just have genetically bad teeth)  So I figure Ill just go to vegas one less time this year and get professionally whitened teeth instead.

My New Year's Resolutions, in order of potential accomplishment:

  • Get my full driving licence.
  • Actually go to the gym or stop paying so much money for it.
  • On that note, stop spending so much damn money.
  • Get into Med School (pretty much the entire focus of my life right now).

And post here more often :)

UPDATE TIME Y'ALL READY?

OK. Now for 2014!
Looking back, I'm pretty disappointed that 2012 was the best year of my entire life and 2013 sucked ass. For 2014, I'm going to focus on fixing my outlook on life and trying to be a happier person. I miss how nice I used to be and I want to get back to that. I work on a schedule to keep all my house mostly clean instead of just having one spotless room at a time. I want to do a real Whole30. (I did a Whole~13 this year and I felt GREAT, but I didn't have the willpower not to stress eat.)

I'm a failure yay! I'm moderately happy, I guess. It'll get better next month. My house is perfectly spotless right now, but it hasn't been pretty much all year. I haven't done a Whole30, but I've switched to keto and feel pretty all right.

How are you guys doing on your things?
