the gap needs to be narrowed down a bit, i think. 25-50 is crazy lol.
Not really..
I mean when you reach that high you need to make the next award harder to achieve. I think that's completely reasonable.

i was thinking maybe we could award it based on multiples of 5 like 1,5,10,15,20,25,etc... i think that's easier to keep track.
500k/1m/5m/10m/25m NP / Item value donated
oh, don't forget people who donate NC too. *cough* @Kordelia *cough*

I feel like that would be much harder to keep track of to be honest, there'd be way more awards to distribute closer together too.
The gap between 25-50 could be lessened to like 35 or 40, but in increments of 5? Oh my gosh no way. lol

He's only started posting more since I overtook him.

Every time I see 'overtook' I picture Sweeney doing it with a Honey Badger, Nymh videotaping, Snow White-esque animals 'frolicking' in the background.

And you only overtook me because I went on a six-month break
You prioritised starting a family over your post count and now you're paying the price, I bet you're really regretting that decision now...

Why not do the Fibonacci sequence for awards that have to do with numbers? I think it would add a certain something.

That wasn't the reason I took a break
Does the reason involve taking a ferry to France? Because you look nothing like the guy they had on the news at the time.

That's what happens here.
Math isn't my strong suit.Because the first two awards would both have a criteria of one...

That is a GREAT idea. If only there were some way for you to look up the people who have done such a thing. I remember there was a time you could see who priced the most and I had always striven to beat Noit.
Maybe an award for writing a guide/tutorial/how-to/etc.
Blogger award.
Maybe one for irc and tc addicts.
I used to idly price things in the dB too, when there was a leaderboard. It made me feel less useless. Those were the days.
Convenient that you suggest three awards you'd be eligible for.

You wound me. I thought of the guide one for Yung, so he can come back and be upstanding and finally get credit for all his hard work. Give him one sprite for each guide he's written and so when he posts again he'll have 500 of those things under his name. And Plunk ain't worth much else, so I thought it would be nice if he got something for his highly amusing blog. I wouldn't even say that I qualify for the irc/tc thing, because I haven't been in there forever. Which is good because I fucking hate you guys.
I really miss that leaderboard you speak of. It didn't make me feel less useless, but I felt like I was at least making a difference.

Sorry, I didn't have Yung on the mind. I miss him and his guides.
(and I don't know who "you guys" are, but it sure as hell isn't me. Ask @Trichomes if you ever need new reasons to fucking hate people.)

Where did that iDB leaderboard go, anyway?

I noticed the referral links don't seem to work either, so those would need to be fixed before there can be awards for that.

We've never worked that one out, it just disappeared some time without anybody realising for ages and none of us remember doing it.
