Hey guys! 

 

Just a quick announcement! I wanted to let you all know that, thanks to @Pyro699, we have some lovely new subforums under the Neocodex Competitions forum. The main page of the Neocodex Competitions forum will still be used solely by the contest team. 

 

The new additions: 

 

General Contests - All user run contests will go here. This includes SOTW, The Pitch Challenge, Customization Contest, and any other contests that users may wish to run.

 

Giveaways - Users who want to give something of theirs away will post here. 

 

I wanted this made because I felt that it helped organize the contests a bit and puts them all in one place where people can find them. 

 

All old contests will stay where they are - mainly because it would be extremely time consuming to move all of them over. However, I've moved all of the rules, guidelines, templates, theme suggestions and the Hall of Fame for SOTW over. 

 

If I forgot any currently running contests then please let me know. Otherwise, enjoy your new contest area!

ah, got it. i was confused for a sec because i can still see the SOTWs in the arts and graphic section but the templates and others are already moved. i think this is a great change, indeed. this is going to be my favorite subforum in codex!

btw, someone needs to edit the SOTW hall of fame. maybe make a new one i think since the thread is already freaking heavy.

This certainly makes things easier to find. I'm particularly interested in the giveaways section. I've never really seen a thread for something like that, maybe I'm just not looking hard enough, but I think it would be very interesting to see what people would like to giveaway and why. Hooray for making the forum more streamlined!

I've seen a couple of giveaways. I remember there being a Super Bowl one in February. Then there was something like guess the two shows I'm thinking of and you win this prize. I thought that would be interesting if people wanted to do that. It could even expand to other things besides Neopets too.
