Maximum wait is 6 days for them to mature. If they haven't by then, click the little red arrow in the top right of the dragins image in your lair to 'refresh' their image.

Oh not a problem at all, we were all there at one point Also, you can also try and change their appearance by adding a piece of apparel to make the image update. This will only work though once the dragons image has reached that 'in between' stage on the lair page (like the not quite adult, but not a baby anymore image).

Yep, i also got this thing from it. I didn't realise you can get 2 different genes on one dragon.

They exalt for more, but I don't think users generally pay for levelled dragons. It's too easy to grind them yourself.

Uh, I just started to look around a bit more. About a week ago I made my two first dragons nest and was able to hatch them today (ugly basic colors ^^ . Then I looked around and bought three Imperial hatchlings... they are super cute but now it's going to take me another month or so to be able to nest again? x_X" This is awfully long.. what would you guys suggest I do in the meantime? D:

I can't really grind the coliseum either because I have like just the two adults from the beginning.

Stay in the training fields and level up and over level then move on to the next section. hoard items and sell?

Buy and breed more dragons. If you don't have the money, play(/autoplay) runestones.

An hour of runestones will give you enough cash for a few cheap dragons, then you can easily rock the Coliseum
