Not a bad thing at all. For the other posts, I was pretty surprised to hear how people sounded irl vs what I thought they sounded like (and some I was totally off on gender b/c I never looked at their profiles....OOPS!) Yours was pretty much right on!

No, born in Sydney but my mother immigrated from Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) as a child.

I've been working a lot with Kiwis and have a lot of Kiwi friends so I accidently started imitating the accent when drinking and it kind of stuck with me and comes out at random times.

I'll have a go at recording an Aussie/kiwi accent when I come off night shift in the morning

It depends on what part of the state you are from, the middle of the state doesn't have nearly the accent that the mountains or eastern part (where I'm from) have.
