If you can get a good pair, then yes, some are worth breeding for profit. Unless you get lucky though, getting a breeding pair is a long/expensive process. Right now I'm just breeding for the hell of it.

Coli is the best way to make treasure imo since you have access to the bot. For people who don't cheat, the quickest way is to play Runestones until Level 6, then quit and do it again. It takes 1-2 mins to get to that level and each game gets you around 1k.

Thanks! Yep I've been running the coli bot, and when I can't do get it to work I run the runestone autoplayer. 75k per day doing that ain't too bad..

I don't have a question but I just found out that when you're looking for items with an apostrophe in its name, you can replace it with a % and it will find the correct item e.g.

    Veteran's Eye Scar -> Veteran%s Eye Scar

Don't think so, unless you track which ones you do via their ID?

That's actually really handy! Thanks for the tip!

Do you find it worth the time to try and sell items from your hoard in the auction house, or do you just sell straight from your hoard? I'm talking the items worth maybe like 50-1,000, not the items worth plenty more which are obviously worth selling in the AH.

I tend to just bite the bullet and sell straight from my hoard, unless I'm in the mood to individually auction things to make a small profit.

I'm just lazy and not motivated to get high amounts of treasure in FR mainly because there is nothing expensive to strive for. I already am near 100 lair space with over 70-ish dragons and even at that point with an amount that makes legit people drop their jaw and have trouble spending money. I rarely convert my treasure to gems to get good accents, but that's about it. I hoard-sell everything including eliminates except for dragon eggs and ambushes because I don't gots the motivation to get that profit.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's not worth the trouble at this point. xD

generally not, especially if you have a massive hoard of items to begin with.

How far does this site/game vary from Neopets, and what site/where could I go, to get a good round about 411 for this?

I'd love to get a nice warm and fuzzy feel about this site/game, before the windows open up and I can create an account. Thank you :)

the only similarity i can think of is the time... and oh, you can customize your dragons too and people actually spend real money for wearables (called apparels in FR). other than that it's quite different.  the site forum has lots of guides that you can refer to. they aren't restricted from outside so you don't need to login. the site also has a strong tumblr, youtube and facebook presence.

Most stuff I sell straight from the hoard. Like with neo, there's people who report you for botting if they see you have a bunch of stuff they think you shouldn't have.

but how would they know?? do people really track how many of certain things you're selling?

I just end up hoarding forever and then do a mass purge at a random whim.

Yep. If you mass sell a bunch of items and someone doesn't think you could realistically get them 'legitimately' they will suspect you. Some even like to take screen caps and plaster them over tumblr...

    Yeah. Same.

Based on a blog I follow for these reasons, I have also come to notice that some of the people actively go looking for something suspicious. Hence another reason I do not do much on the AH, since that seems to be where the 'tracking' likes to start. It's kind of creepy, if you ask me...

I don't find it creepy, just annoying. I'm used to it from Neopets.

I played Neopets years ago...for a few days before I got bored with it, so I do not know what it is like on there. Flight RIsing is also really the first pet game I have really invested time into. I guess being used to playing console and handheld games where what I do is entirely my business, seeing people stalking other people's activity and profiles is just...weird to me. Especially for some silly reason as 'this users has a lot of stuff'...

not sure what's optimal but I tend to favor strength heavily. I also put a bit into vitality and quickness too.

What's the optimal stat build to grind the coli? Read somewhere that strength is extremely important...

I do 40-50 in quick, the rest in strength, and my little spares in vitality. idk if that's how it's supposed to be done, but i kill everything.

^ Exactly this, except if I only do 40 quick max because all 3 of my dragons are double loaded with ambushed so most monsters die before my 6 opening attacks end. Also consider once you have maxed level your dragons, they can basically kill anything Harpy's Roost and lower with ease. Investing little or no vit is the best choice for grinding, especially during festivals with or without an APer, monsters die quickly from Eliminate barrages and would almost never even hit the dragon. Even if your dragon dies and you have to pay the food penalty, it's nothing because once you reached a level, getting food is really easy.

If you PvP, that's a whole new dimension. I don't PvP because the payout/investment ratio is EXTREMELY low.

Also, what attack stones do you guys suggest? I'm a bit confused on that end :(

Scratch for breath-building and eliminate for offense.

Magic users are gimmicky and dragging. They're only good for PvP. If the monster arenas had bosses, then maybe magic would be of use.

Is there any better breath-building things out there or is scratch the only one? Scratch is so slow at building breath, takes like 7 turns to be able to use eliminate

Nope, scratch is pretty much your best bet. The other options are Meditate, which cuts your attack power for a few turns after, and...Guard? Some other thing, I forget what it's called, but snappers are born with it. It's a defensive move that gives you...I believe 5 breath, unless that dragon gets hit that turn, in which case it does 12 or 15.
