I personally believe that everyone needs something to look forward to in the near future. It's nice to think of something down the line (getting engaged, graduating, a big trip, etc.) but I think to look forward to small things every day is a good attitude to live life.

 

I'm looking forward to my birthday (which is in 3 weeks), friday (done my MCAT) and June 2 (my friend comes back from Scotland). All of those are pretty soon and whenever I feel bored or just "bleh", I like to think "but I have something else to brighten my week soon!"

 

What're you looking forward to in the near future?

My birthday is one, which is Saturday. Then going to see my family for summer break. I'm also looking forward to the end of school and receiving my AP test scores back.

Turnip coming back in the summer. (Barring my mom doesn't spend the money she promised to save on more birds or something.)

The annual (and increasingly boring) fair in July.

The anime convention in August, and potentially being worshiped as some sort of god for my l33t skills in a weeaboo rhythm game.

MEETING UP WITH ELIN IN A FEW WEEKS HELL YES!!!! You guys have no idea how excited I am ohhh my god!! 

I'm really looking forward to watching the E3 streams next month too!! Those are always fun!! And then playing Mario Kart 8 and Tomodachi Life with Elin's gonna be loads of fun toooo~ <3

 

ALSO YESSS THE FAIR AND ANIME CONVENTION THOSE ARE GONNA BE AWESOME!!!! I REALLY CAN'T WAIT!! <3

 

Also there's this event happening in Japan in just under a week where a couple of albums I'm really looking forward to are being sold!! Ohh my god one of my favourite... uh... not really band? person's selling a new album there and damn the demo thing sounds amazing~ <3

I have a con to go to this summer too. I spent a ton of money so my mom and her boyfriend can meet William Shatner. I don't think I'll be dressing up this year though. Last year I dressed as Arya Stark and my brother was the Hound and we couldn't take three steps without people wanting our picture. It got old REALLY FAST.

Everyday I look forward to coming home and scratching my cat's butt.
