It switches shops 5 mins after it successfully buys an item. Is it meant to do this and is it possible to stop it from changing shops after every successful buy without having to keep closing and running it again to get back to the shop I was at before?

If you want to keep Abrosia in a specific shop, which prevents it from switching, you can make a list. We've got a couple guides lying around and some pre made lists you can use.
