That wasn't a cool happening at all, and I know I shared a ton of dragons on here too (though not direct image links); I didn't get banned, but seeing how many others did just makes me sick.  :/

We must be having a miscommunication. I didn't say it was cool and I was also banned.

The miscommunication was on my end (as in, poorly expressed): I know you got iced, and I meant it is not cool of the FR admins to be doing this.   The image was in sympathy for your situation.

Nah you are all good, I have ended up being pretty brain dead by the time I get home lately, and thus I don't necessarily express myself properly. :)

I wish I knew healing potions weren't one time use, and that they would magically replenish themselves when I exited a battle.

I also wish I knew that my dragons would heal just by exiting battle. I spent at least an hour not battling because I thought my dragons were low on hp.

Oryx don't breed your progen with that really ugly and unfortunate starter dragon. In about 10 minutes someone is going to come along and give you an awesome freckled dragon and now you can't breed them for weeks. GG.

lol same with the healing potions. At one point I had 99+ b/c I kept getting them from coli and was too stupid to sell them off. They aren't worth much but you definitely don't need that many.

Also, I used one of my starter drags as a battle drag so it ended up working out for me.

I wish someone had told me not to waste treasure on anything other than eliminate or ambush. blah.

    Yes, this!

I looked up what can drop from the different zones in the coli, then grinded an ambush from th.e training area today, and an eliminate (woodland path & sandswept delta).... but after already buying 3. I think that might be a little extreme though

Also didn't know bonding with familiars is tied to your account, not individual dragons, and that I could go through and bond with ALL the familiars I own every day.

I've grinded out a few of my eliminates, bought all my ambushes until I randomly got one from coli. Its a nice little profit though :p

Wish I knew that if you breed dragons of two different breed (for example a male skydancer and a female imperial) your hatchlings will only consist of male skydancers and female imperials... you CANNOT get female skydancers and male imperials :/

Wait, whut? Where on earth did you hear this happening? I bred dragons of different breeds all the time and get the opposite genders. Unless they changed this recently, but then I'm pretty sure I'd have heard the Tumblr FR crowd bitching.

The fact that it hasn't occurred to me, and that literally every 'preview offspring' result (both in nesting grounds as wel as in scrying workshop) gave me this result. Never have I gotten a certain breed in a different gender.

Wait, are you getting confused thinking there's two types of art like there is for the adults? Because all the babies look the same no matter what gender they are.

I've probably missed this somewhere down the line, but how do I get more exotic colored dragons? All of mine are 'basic', and not exciting looking in the least bit.

Genes my friend, genes. You can either breed with a 'gened' dragon in the slim hopes of it transferring to your hatchlings, OR, you can splash out some treasure/cash and buy gene scrolls. Or, you know, just buy a pair of dragons with better genes from the auction house and breed them (it's actually cheaper than buying up gene scrolls).

I wish I knew that when auctioning stuff, the price you key in is for the whole stack, not a single item. D:

I did pick up a couple of ambushes for the price of one and made some decent profit though. So all's good.

What's the best element to start with?

There's no best, it's all personal preference. Each flight color corresponds to the eye color of your dragons you hatch. Also each flight gets its own forum, so you can check out their forum and see if you like the people. Most people on FR are very friendly, if not overly so.

What's the best element to start with?

It really depends on what you consider as "important". Do you consider frequent winners of the weekly dominance, forum activity, flight kindness/helpfulness, forum activity, specific interests (breeding, writing, RPing, etc). Honestly, you can play flight rising without any attachment to your flight,

What's the best element to start with?

If you're interested in getting dominance benefits often, plague/lightning/maybe ice? If you want a super friendly flight, light/arcane/wind. Earth and water seem to be the least drama, in my experience. Any specific concerns?

I wish I knew just how big of a sellout NeonDragon was and how shitty the mods/team was going to be for the site.  (Banhappy, hiding the fact that opening the Coli and Fairegrounds at the same time is a banable offence, etc etc etc)

Funnily enough, the download page doesn't work for me.

I also wish I knew to cheat earlier.  Oh my god runestones assistant is a blessing from on high.
