So I have started playing around trying to get my buy times lower, I run a 25 mb/s home internet, ping to cali server was 267

Using a Cali proxy now and my settings are OCR+Haggle = .4-.6 and my buy times are still average 2000 ms anything I can do short of going down to .2-.4?

If you want to get it to below 2000ms you are going to have to drop the settings. Why don't you want to just drop it?

Doubt it, I had to keep mine at .01 to get 1.4 on proxies and never got iced on any of the accounts, so you should be fine.

Settings don't really matter. Many people believe that it's the final buy time that matters, though I have reasons to doubt even that :p

err, don't try anything stupid like making your settings the very lowest you could until you know exactly what you are doing and what that would accomplish :p

stick with 1600-1800ms buy times, that seems to work for a lot of people.

    Wut? Settings DO matter.....

The important thing is the buy time. If you put it at 0.1 seconds on OCR and haggle and have a 1800ms buy time, then that would be perfectly fine regardless of how low the settings were set.

Settings vary from person to person depending on the ping to neopet's servers, so experiment until you get the desired buy time.

lol for me i can have everything on the lowest setting's and only get a 1200-1300ms buy time

Yes I know that, but you don't want people to go straight to 0.1 across the board, so settings DO matter if you wish to keep your account safe. Always use the default times set in Abrosia before adjusting them SLIGHTLY each time until you get a reasonably 'human' buy time.

I leave mine on OCR+Haggle = .2 - .4s. And still get buy times upwards of 2300+ms. beat this.

So... The "suspicious" part of Autobuying (for TNT) is the total time taken... that Abrosia puts in brackets after a successful buy, right?

Just got Advanced and I've been gently tweaking the settings

S/S2 Addendum: Scot's Guide To Autobuying - Neopet General Guides - Neocodex - Neopets Programs for Everyone

That's the guide I first followed when I started out AB'ing. I tweaked the RF times and OCR+Haggle and I sit around .5-.9 with 4.0-7.2 RF times. I do pretty decent on some nights and other nights, as many know you just come up empty with nothing but an RS ban

Just try and keep your times "Human-Like" as best as possible that way you don't risk your account. Also try and do AC games, regular games, customize, chat on the boards to make yourself seem less like a "bot".

Don't go for any extreme buying times like the aformentioned guide will talk about, no matter how tempting getting all those Draik Eggs, MPs, stamps, etc may be. That moment you get greedy, is the moment TNT will make your account go POOF!

    Just my two cents
