Hey guys, random discussion. I did some digging into let's just say unfinished parts of plots, and I think many will agree that a decent plot is long overdue for us faithful.. somewhat faithful users. There's Lutari Island, one of the biggest plots TNT has the potential to blow up but aren't. There's both restricted sections on Kreludor, and Krawk Island. There's also the fact the Meridell VS. Darigan Citadel. And TNT also noted in the editorials that they have folders upon folders of plot ideas but nowhere to fit them in with the annual events. With that said they also speculated into disregarding Daily Dare this year, anyone think this could be for a new plot? Idea? Opinions?

They said in an editoral they might just get rid of the AC as well, so they have two potential places for a plot. I've missed all the actual plots, because these "site event" things aren't plots. I'd love to see something done with Lutari Island, I mean they're coming out with an app, maybe they could have a plot related to the Island and when it's over it opens the Island up on the app?

Also I honestly think the Daily Dare is being cancelled so they can focus all their time and resources on getting everything with JumpStart situated. I remember back when Viacom got Neopets there was a long dry period of no events or plots because they were getting everyone up to snuff with what they wanted to do with the new direction of the site.

Basically, like I mean I get Codex and including Stealth both love the AC, as do I, but I'd rather one year when TNT just go hiatus and dump all annuals for a big plot, with a somewhat BD side as oppose to these tedious puzzles and NC components. But in order to do that they also need to fix the BD for compatibility with the good old DoN and Punchbag Bob trophy. There's so much and they just aren't doing it ATM.

Well, we did get the Battlefield event for a while there, though that wasn't really much more than a huge grind.

 

I imagine once everything switches over we'll see an improvement when it comes to how often fun stuff is held.

I hope they start doing more cool stuff now with Jumpstart. Their How To Train Your Dragon app is really cool, so I hope they do a great job with neo's app... I can't wait any longer >

I'm still angry I missed the actual obelisk miniplot

I've been on the site for a long time, and I missed all the plots (save the mini obelisk one). I wish they would do something different.

Me too D: I've battled since, but didn't actually participate in the original obelisk.

 

I would love to have a new plot, instead of all these little site events or w/e.

I feel a good plot is coming but for that to happen I do believe they have to fix the battledome first for the big finale battle.

Everything in neopets is long overdue. But I could definitely see the value with a plot during the release of their new app. Come to think of it, they would be morons if they don't have a large activity at the time of release to lure new customers in.

 

I don't think we'll see any plot sooner than that though. I hope they prove me wrong.
