I'm super curious. The restock board on neo is full of people snagging mps, stamps etc. Does this mean they're faster than the autobuyer?

it depends on internet speed i guess. xD i'll never able to restock anything legit because i live in malaysia (latency issues) but running abrosia for a few hours at specific time and place, i'm able to snatch a few stuff.

Why do you assume people posting on the neoboards are legit? 

It could be people using Abrosia posting to seem more legit.

Most people run autobuyers at close to human speed to avoid being frozen, they're more interested in avoiding the monotony of manually restocking rather than buying things really quickly.

Countries in Asia are a long distance from Neopets' servers so they have an inherent level of latency which means that restocking is pretty much always going to be slower than, for example, an American user so it's likely that you'll get more misses.

 

Restock screenshots are easily forged.

I honestly did it all the time and if I were still playing Neopets seriously, I would do that on a regular basis with all my 1m+ profit items

Yeah, I mean like everyone said, depends on your internet speed. Plus if the ABer refreshes a few seconds after the stock happens, it could miss as well.

I used to RS legit, and got GOOD mps. It felt nice RSing faster than ABers sometimes xD but it gets annoying sitting in shops, refreshing over and over and over.

Its speed is definitely beatable in main shops (as long as the ABer isn't using settings that will get it frozen soon), especially if you use semi-legit methods like preventing bad items from loading. Some shops (stamps in particular) seem more difficult, but I might just be out of practice.

 

Its focus, though... I personally can't watch the main shop screen for very long. I need a TV show or something, and then I'm watching the shop in my periphery, and then... no buy

 

I restock legit-ish when I'm bored/want to feel good about myself and AB when I actually want NP.

i live in the uk and my internet speed is quite good with neopets. the uk is a long way from neopet servers

I think there is, I've seen it. I think it's under "humanize". Not sure if it works however, I haven't tried it.

Indeed, UK speeds are still likely to be perhaps half as fast as an American could get but the UK does have decent connections to New York so it's probably better than the rest of Europe.

Yeah, for me personally, I never visit the boards and wish to keep my accounts as far away as possible from that crap. So that feature would never get use from me either way.
