Hey guys,

Just a quick update again to let you know that I have re-enabled the link anonymiser with each and every new link posted to the forum.

What this does (for those of you who may not know) is, it adds a anonymous referrer to your link that you follow from here so as to keep the origin of the link private.

For example: If I posted a link to Flight Rising and you click it, it will redirect you through the anonym.to site and then on to FR.

This is to keep our stuff as private as we can from those sites that may look into your account for any reason and link it back to here (which, majority of the time, we do not want).

So yeah, YAY FOR ACCOUNT SAFETY.

Regards,

Strategist.

So if I link to lemonparty, then.... it's still hilarious?

[Applepi]

Yay!! Thank you for doing this Strat, much appreciated

[KaibaSama]

This'll probably take away some of our members fears about clicking on neopets links directly now. Thank you for reactivating it.

Noice noice.

[Strategist]

Yay for an extra 1 second to load any link!!!!!!1!

Spoiler

Jkjk, can't hurt to be careful

Indeed, I would rather have that extra second if it means that my account(s) stay safer

[Rocket]

Thanks Strat

[MichaelA]

Yay for safety

Yay for being safe!

That is great to hear, especially for neopets links.

[Stitches]

Cool beans, I was thinking about this earlier today actually. Hopefully TNT doesn't bother with that kind of thing, but the extra layer of security is appreciated.

It's like a digital condom!

[NapisaurusRex]

Yay! Thank you!

[blue]

YAAAAS!

Oh, how I've missed this feature.

[Grimley]

Very nice, I am happy to see this, as is Horatio...

+rep because this made me laugh.

[corbenik]

Thank you for this anonymiser again! Though my dumb antivirus took it as a *dangerous link*. Nothing to worry, my dear antivirus, nothing to worry

[Eefi]

I know we've had discussions about how Neopets doesn't care about clicking direct links from here because most of the forums are accessible unregistered. It's definitely useful for the private forums! ^^

[lhalpo]

Definitely better to be safe than sorry, the extra second is no big deal

[Grandmaster]

Thanks a lot. I usually copy the link and paste on URL bar to ensure safety of my accounts. Now, it's faster for me.

And for more indiscriminate sites... *coughflightrisingcough*

[Tailwind]

Yay, now I can click FR links!

[Waser Lave]

Note that if you're using something like NoScript you'll need to white list anonym.to for the links to be made anonymous.

[Fikri]

yay for account security! thanks guys.

[faerieneo11]

Cool, I was getting a bit tired of having to copy/paste links.
