I'd like to see a game in every NFL Stadium. I suppose that counts as travel destinations, right?

Jerusalem, Scotland, Scandinavia. Jerusalem for religious reasons, Scotland and Scandinavia because they seem like truly beautiful countries(And cold! SCREW the heat!)!

I'm not too keen on the concept of going to most foreign countries. Diseases, wildlife, insects and all that. Africa, South America, and to a lesser extent Australia is on my shitlist. x_x

And I get homesick. I like my sanctuary.

This thread made me go all the way back to the 1600s in my family tree on ancestry.com yesterday. I want to visit Germany because my great great grandmother was born in Reepsholt in 1894 and moved to America in 1912 where she met and married my great great grandfather who was also born in Germany.

I want to visit most of Europe mainly because I enjoy the history and I want to see the places for myself.

I've always wanted to travel around the world. I think if I become fairly successful and can do anything, it'll be travel.

My top dream places right now though are probably Fiji, New Zealand, or Singapore.

Here's my preliminary list for Japan:
    Spoiler

Most of that is to see architecture like this:
    Spoiler

But also to complete the Shikoku Hachijuhakkasho, the Shikoku Pilgrimage to 88 Temples.

Aaaand some European cities that have mostly not been mentioned:

    Trieste, Italy
    Spoiler

    Trondheim, Norway
    Spoiler

    Oslo, Norway
    Spoiler

    Skopje, Macedonia

    Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
    Spoiler

    Split, Croatia

    Zagreb, Serbia
    Belgrade, Serbia
    Spoiler

    Pristina, Kosovo
    Spoiler

I'll skip the obvious extremes since everyone has already said all that.

The one notable exception would be Bouvet Island, the most remote place in the world.

I'm going to add Sweden to the list because that's where the other side of my family is from.

Someone get me off of Ancestry.com please. Save me.

    Yeah.

You'd have fantasies about water too if every time you drove into the city you had to pass through a 5 minute wide zone where the smell of shit infests every molecule of air that you breathe. The Trinity River is an open sewer, apparently.

Sounds a lot like Milwaukee, Wisconsin where the shore line of Lake Michigan is just a giant dumping ground for peoples shit.

I like it just fine on the bank or in it, but I'm terrified of driving over it.

Unfortunately it's become more and more common.

But I think in Texas we have a slightly higher awareness of water issues since practically every year we have droughts. Every time I pass into a different municipality I'm greeted by a sign that says "Stage 1 water restrictions are in effect."

I really want to go to some tropical island somewhere and just relax in a beach front house for a little while. I think it would be nice to wake up next to the beach every day.
