Who to Nominate: We are looking for someone who is kind, helpful, and has made great contributions to the forum while encouraging activity. You may nominate up to three people.

 

How to Nominate: To nominate, either PM me or post here. Your nomination must include the person's username and 2-3 well thought out reasons - for example, explaining how well you think they did contributing to something. Reasons like "because they're cool" will not be counted.

 

How to Win: The three users with the most nominations will be voted on at the end of the nomination period. The person with the most votes at the end of the voting period will become July's MOTM. 

 

Full Rules:

- Do not nominate yourself or ask to be nominated.

- Staff members may be nominated but each individual staff member may only win once every six months.

- Provide 2-3 well thought out reasons as to why you think the user you have nominated should be MOTM. If your reasoning is not valid, your nomination may not be considered. 

- Post your nomination here or PM me if you would like to be anonymous.

- If you won the previous month, you cannot be nominated.

I nominate @Sweeney, because he was one of the first to be welcoming when I arrived--and I can't re-nominate @Keil (even though he's super-uber helpful). | Oh and Swe didn't try to push me off a cliff (or maybe that should be @Nymh LOL) after that bonkers blog y'all persuaded me to post.

 

I also nominate @Emily for all her hard work in the contests, including the handy-dandy calendar to keep everything straight.

 

Final nom to @Kate, for her fab contest creation guide. It helped me launch my poetry contest without feeling like too much of a klutz.

1. She's the most helpful FR person on here.  (No offense to all the rest.) Whether it's PMs, thread replies, or lending.

2. Shes super active on the forums, and friendly to everyone.  

3. She's one of the "cool kids" that's actually cool.   (Yes, I know this is the same as above, but dammit many of "them" aren't so she deserves extra credit for being so.)

4. Count the contest threads she's started.

1.  He's the most entertaining wise ass on the forums imo

2. All the FR tools.(that should count for 3 or 4 right there.)

3. He's helpful and informative about using the above.

4. I was going to nominate him last month for more reasons that I can't remember now, but forgot to.

1.No clue what he's giving away (I skim over most Neo giveaways) but I know he's giving away many things.

2. He's new and is working hard at becoming part of the community.

3. Sorta the same as 1 & 2, but when someone who doesn't even read the threads knows you're trying hard to be a part of the community, you're working hard at doing so.  So you deserve recognition for it.

So glad to see the nomination thread going! I'd been giving this thought throughout the month (especially since the month before was a bit half-assed for me since I'd just returned from not being very present for awhile), and my three nominees this time are as follows:

 

1. @Futurama is definitely someone I juana nominate.   @Keil most deservedly won MOTM for June with the agonizing work required to coordinate our Team Codex for the AC and always beating the battle drums, but Futurama has been right there as well (they are an awesomely devilish AC force!), and both he and Mme. Juana surely have kept the fires stoked in the midst of battle!
2. @Sweeney has been extremely helpful since I've returned, and is a blessed wizard in the ways of FR as well.
3. @MichaelA has, as others have observed, been amazing with the giveaways (completely selfless and totally voluntary), and having been on the receiving end of an award from one, I was likewise beyond satisfied with the ease of the transaction for receiving the goods (and no site hassles, not meaning here, at all in the process). He's super-pleasant and nice to chat with as well.

@Futurama has contributed a lot for the success of altador cup this year. the whole subforum is never dull because of him. he is always there to help and motivate us. besides posting the daily quotas, he also organized the juan movie cover contest which is a load of fun.

I'm going to nominate @Waser Lave because not only has he done a lot for the site, but he always seems so positive or at least gives everyone a good laugh whether he means to or not

I'm going to nominate @Futurama because he is the juan and only. He has been very active & helpful to those who ask while maintaining his sass. He was constantly active on the AC boards (quotas, $hit neopians say about us, etc.) On top of that he has been on point on the sports sub-forum and even partaking in World Cup antics despite not watching a single game (also note, the fantasy football he gathered interest for.) And lastly, for running the Juan poster contest. 

 

I would nominate others but I think I just want to go for one at a time. I totally think people above are amazing nominations though =)
