12 year olds shouldn't be encouraged by their parents to have sex?I fail to see the major downside in the above scenario?

Sure, I'm guessing that for some people it's perfectly normal for a mother saying stuff like "my daughter should have sex with the kid X, he seems a nice boy, instead of the last dozen she has been doing" about their 12 years old girl and say "she was with 4 boys before she was knocked up, we don't know who the father is so we sent her to a clinic to make an abortion. Now which of these dish detergents you think it's better?
".
If it's not perfectly normal for you, then aren't you kind of contradicting your own point? Here:
I know there are kids and parents of every kind, but this is what I see every day where I live.
and here:
It's trivial to see kids in the street at night drinking, smoking and not only tobacco, driving (when they don't have age to do it accompanied with an adult)... I mean kids, really, 12, 13, 14 years old doing things most adults don't do, they do it with parental consent.

As opposed to discouraging it and increasing the risk of STDs, forced babies and turning people into Kate?

I like Kate.As opposed to discouraging it and increasing the risk of STDs, forced babies and turning people into Kate?
And yes? You can be informing about sex without encouraging children to actually do it.
The other issue I had with the scenario described is that adults are encouraging girls of an impressionable age to objectify men.

I guess he just means people having kids, but I don't see a problem with that.. I wasn't a young teen when I had any of my children. I don't know, I'm confused.

Wouldn't that include both of us though? You're singled out.I guess he just means people having kids, but I don't see a problem with that.. I wasn't a young teen when I had any of my children. I don't know, I'm confused.
Maybe this is kind of like a third grader throwing rocks at the pretty girl and he secretly wants to bone you.

That was hilarious.
I've received some creepy texts too. I usually just don't reply. It's kind of like when you see a dangerous animal and you think that it'll leave you alone if you don't move.
I was just looking through my texts and a guy asked me where I was from because my area code looked "foreign" so I told him Florida and his reply was "oh soooooooooo that's why you gotta sexy smile." Wat.
I delete my texts on a regular basis so that's about all I have. I had some creepy messages on okcupid, but I deleted that when I found my ex boyfriend's best friend.

and here:
It's not normal for me, the quotes you made of my text demonstrate exactly that. ![]()
1) Despite the fact that are parents of all kinds, I don't think it's very parenting motivate a child of age 12 to have sex with multiple boys at the same time. and that's the kind of thing I see/hear on a daily basis.
2) The same goes with sending their kids to the street with a pat in their back so they can drink, smoke and whatever at 3am.
And, these are the same parents who take their kids at 8am for school the next day and when they fail in their exams the teachers are the ones to blame.
What the fuck? Am I the only one who sees something wrong in this scenario? So I'm the abnormal one here for not wanting my daughters be sexually active when they reach 12, or my son impregnating school girls before he's mentally mature?!?! ![]()

she quoted this that you saidI don't understand?
Trivial means little or no importance, like you're saying it's not a big deal to see kids doing those things. I assumed that's where she was going with the contradiction thing. I'm getting more and more lost with this conversation though, I have no idea. It's trivial to see kids in the street at night drinking, smoking and not only tobacco, driving (when they don't have age to do it accompanied with an adult)... I mean kids, really, 12, 13, 14 years old doing things most adults don't do, they do it with parental consent.

Shitty kids are a result of shitty parenting. Hope none of your kids turn out shitty, cuz the choices they make will reflect on you.

Yeah, my english is a shit. Sorry about that, I thought trivial has the same meaning as in portuguese, which means something common, that happens often. That's what I meant.

Yeah, I was also a less than angelic teenager, then have been the most settled person imaginable in my 20s. If anything, I think having maybe a bit too much freedom young meant that it interested me less as an adult, where as my more reserved friends when we were young are a lot more reckless now.Promiscuous behaviour is not necessarily reckless behaviour. I spent half my teens out of my head, sleeping with girls, and hanging out on the street.
I still got good grades, got a good job and touch wood have not gotten anyone pregnant (nor will I ever) and never got an STD (cept that one time I got thrush...)
