Their readings are amazing, but it does highlight some of the incredibly rude, entitled and generally gross attitudes that people hold towards the opposite sex. I would imagine that most of these are sent by teenagers, which is a bit of a relief... but also makes it pretty clear that society as a whole needs to make more of an effort towards education around these issues.

I don't think it's a relief if (does anyone have any doubt?!) all of those were sent by teenagers. ![]()
It's scary the type of future adults are being formed today. And then it strikes me I have three kids who will be pre-adolescents one day. And it scares the fucking hell out of me.

Ehh, I don't think the type of teenager someone is necessarily reflects the kind of adult they will be. Many teenagers don't have the life experience to realise that some of their behaviour is gross.
Not that I'm excusing it - just saying that there might still be time to change it. And to realise that we need to put that effort into educating young people on this kind of thing sooner rather than later.

You're absolutely right, but what cuts down my faith in these kids are their parents. I'm dramatizing it and I know there are kids and parents of every kind, but this is what I see every day where I live. It's shocking the kind of things I see here.
When we moved here we did it because we thought it would be a better environment for our kids. We were so wrong...
It's trivial to see kids in the street at night drinking, smoking and not only tobacco, driving (when they don't have age to do it accompanied with an adult)... I mean kids, really, 12, 13, 14 years old doing things most adults don't do, they do it with parental consent.
In fact, the parents make sure their kids "do exactly what they want to do". I don't even want to explain to you what these kids do in their parent cottages involving alcohol, drugs and video cameras.
And it's not only here, in the village where I live, from what I know.
Both kids and most parents seem to be numb to what happens to them, good or bad.
I know parents how go to their kids FB profile and approve their semi-nude/smoking weed/drinking booze pics and say "u r beautiful, ur daddy/mummy love ya!" "thank u mum/dad, I love u 2!". I think parents are trying to so hard to be "cool" and not be seen as old and tacky they're willing to risk the kids lives to do it.
Some people say I'm a drama queen (me?!
) but I truly believe this is not going to be ok. Kids taking anti-depressives almost since they start learning how to spell it; alcohol, sex and drugs when they enter middle-school. Really, what can we expect from this?
I think the text messages are just a reflection of it.

Wow... I've said some pretty bad stuff over text, but I've never gone that far!
@Athayde, I think that you are indeed dramatising it. While there are indeed more cases of kids and parents simply just being irresponsible in the way they behave (or let their children behave), it is still quite firmly a minority. It may be that you're only picking up on the abnormally bad things, simply because they're more scandalous and 'plainer' to see (by which, I mean that you wouldn't notice the ordinary things, because they are ordinary and don't surprise you) but I think a lot of teenagers are still able to tell between what is socially acceptable and what isn't.
I can't generalise what I know and see to everywhere on the planet, but from what I do know and see (being at the higher end of a comprehensive school of ~1500 students, 13-18 years old), people will grow up - like @Sweeney said in his first paragraph, they don't realise how immature they're being, and will figure that out once they get older/maturer - and in time, they'll realise that doing all of this shit that they're doing currently (drugs, binge drinking, driving under age) isn't going to help them out in life. I've seen it happen with my brother, and some of my schoolmates who used to be, quite simply,
Either that, or they'll end up on Jeremy Kyle.
By the way, why are all the people on that show, minus the nice ones, so fucking ugly?

I don't understand. Are people exchanging numbers with strangers? Is that a thing?
Could be messages on fb, or tinder or something maybe? when you see the paper they are holding, it looks like there is a small photo of the person beside their message. Thats my guess anyway.
Also, I have totally experienced things like this on tinder & facebook, from older guys.... so the ones in this video may or may not be teenagers, but either way it definitely happens with 20-30 yo range as well.
I had one guy message me and say "You know you want the BBC" just.... yup outta nowhere. -_-
I also have a friend who has an ok cupid or w/e, and she gets messages like this quite often as well.
That all being said, this video was pretty entertaining. I usually just laugh at guys who act like that. That "milk my cock" one xD dear lord! I wonder if that has actually ever worked for him. I really hope not.

@Irradium, I LOVE drama, in all forms. ![]()
But still I think, THIS IS THE END OF DAYS.
Kids these days. Being rebellious and all. Back in my day...
I can assure you: when I was 12 my mainly concern wasn't waiting for the night to, with a handfull of boys, going to a empty house drinking, smoking and making sex videos. That's not being rebellious, it's just a symptom of bad parenting and let the kids get raised by the bad parts of social media.

Naw, it's not teenagers. This is just the norm on okcupid or tinder. A large reason why I don't go on dating sites.
(Except Codex. Codex is definitely a dating site. We should put out some kind of commercial about how we have seen more successful relationships on the first date than any other dating site. And I bet it will be true.)

Well, I can assure you in 1940, when my grandma was a teenager, she was out smoking and drinking with the boys. I can assure you, in 1980, my mother was out smoking, and drinkin', and whorin' with the boys. No one's mother was a fuckin' saint when she was 16, I can assure you.
It doesn't matter when you are around, a young person is going to go out and live their life however they see fit. Parents in ancient Egypt probably scoffed at the youngster's radical eyeliner. Come on.
People have always been rude and stupid, but social media lets us broadcast it out to the world. People haven't changed. The only thing that has changed is technology.

You're missing my point, but that's ok, probably I didn't explain myself properly. The problem is not the kids do whatever they have been doing, the problem is the parents thinking it's ok for them to do it, approve it AND for god's fucking sake give them a push towards that direction. Like I heard a few weeks ago, two mothers talking between them about the sexual adventures of their pre-adolescent daughters with multiple boys like they were talking about the canned sweet corn they were buying. Sure, I'm guessing that for some people it's perfectly normal for a mother saying stuff like "my daughter should have sex with the kid X, he seems a nice boy, instead of the last dozen she has been doing" about their 12 years old girl and say "she was with 4 boys before she was knocked up, we don't know who the father is so we sent her to a clinic to make an abortion. Now which of these dish detergents you think it's better?
".
