Yeah. Planning to shift to Accounting this 2nd Semester

What should I expect? xD

 

Anyone here who have graduated or currently studying Accountancy?

I've taken two accounting courses so far, not my major but required for a business degree. From what I've heard from friends who are pursuing a business degree, the Accounting I and II both go over all of the major accounting principles and their applications and then the following courses will delve much deeper into each of the principles. Like cost accounting was a chapter in one of the courses but is an entirely separate course when you advance. Personally, I enjoyed accounting but not enough to change major heh. 

I'm not familiar with your school of course but if you switch over to a business degree I'm sure you also have your core requirements to meet on the business side that you'll have to take that will include accounting anyways. So if you take accounting and decide it's not for you, you might also be taking in a management class or a marketing class that you can get a feel for too

I've taken Corporate Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting. Both courses were boring as shit but it's been helpful to me in my actual job so I can't knock it completely.

Business undergrad here. Accountancy is really boring to me but it'll give you an iron rice bowl cause everyone needs accountants. If you're planning to go into the finance sector it might give you a slight edge.

Shifting to accountancy and If I got to be a licensed CPA everyone will be happy My family & relatives. Idk about my friends right now cause they don't want me to shift xD 

Cause we really are having financial problems right now

 

Also if I graduated accountancy it will be really easy to get a job for me since my Uncle have his own company in Australia and he can hire me asap :3

I really enjoy my accompany right now and I'm happy with them

 

Sometimes I hate getting attached/close with people I don't like this feeling *cries*
