My wife... if we could sneak away for a little. Gotta consummate asap.
Those pigs in a blanket (croissant blankets please) , would be a close 2nd place.

You likely won't eat at your wedding. We didn't get to eat at mine. We were running around the whole time. I had a friend fill up a couple plates for us and put it in our car as we left.

There's no way I would not eat at my wedding. The only reason I ever go to weddings is for the food -- screw people and their "happily ever after".

Apology accepted. I went to a wedding where they served bacon cheeseburger sliders. It was surprisingly good. I also went to one where they served essentially subway (wasn't subway, was from a local sandwich place, but not any classier). That one didn't go over well...

And yes, I would be the bride hiding under the table stuffing my face.

Your response goes so well with mine.

I ate at my wedding.
Served greek salad and chicken. Was yum, and inexpensive.

That's a proposal if I've ever seen one.

Macaroni and cheese
The only food other than steak that matters

I would serve nothing but cake.
But that's just me. ![]()

French food (onion soup, coq au vin, grilled fish, quiche, roasted vegetables, bread) or pasta (with a non-tomato based sauce) if I was going cheap.
French desserts. Fig or lemon tarts, macarons, small samples of cheesecake.

It's acceptable to serve all appetizers, right?
I want pinwheels
and deviled eggs
and a fruit platter, and dips and cheese and veggies and chips and crackers of different kinds.
And because it's not a Napi-thread without a creepy Napi post, here's what Adam and I would have if we got married.
Steak with bacon-wrapped asparagus
Mashed potato martinis
vag and cheese
salad
Wedding cake with raspberry filling
and these salted pumpkin caramels

Realistically, I will serve hamburgers at my wedding. It's fun to daydream though. What was served at yours though?

Everything I need food wise is in that bacon wrapper asparagus and steak picture...screw everything else!

Fiance and I are having 2 different meals our guests can choose from. Either a prime rib steak or a rocky mountain trout with sides

We had a potluck style lunch since our wedding was outdoors in the Summer.
There were numerous salads, cabbage rolls, sandwhiches, other finger foods. Cake, trifle, and other sweets for dessert.
